I joined this PTC site, neobux actually, and I am a newly registered member. I tries to click ads after my registration but it said that the IP address have already viewed the ad within 24hrs. I tried to ask my referrer and he/she said I should reset my modem to have a new IP address. Alas for me it did not work. I tried to search the net but the suggestions scares me. Help! Is it safe to reset IP addresses on your own? Will my ISP block my account if I do this? What the best way of doing this?

It is very easy to change the IP address. You just need to turn off your modem for a while and then turn it on again. Your IP address will be changed automatically. But if you login in Neobux in a same computer, I am afraid Neobux will find out that you are cheating and your account will be pending. I love China

you must be using a shared ip. you must request to your provider to make you a static ip.

I don't know if this is even possible also but what I have in mind is to ask the internet provider to give us a new IP address because as far as I know they are the ones who provide it. Please correct me if I'm wrong in here. I tried once to change my IP address from dynamic to static but guess what my internet connection failed. Also try to check if your provider allows assigning of static IP addresses because maybe that it'll work. Well maybe but not certain. Hope someone can clarify this. Have a nice day!

Thanks but my ISP is very difficult to contact. Is there an additional payment if I request for a unique one?

If you are using broadband connection, the best thing to do is to call your internet service provider and ask them to change your IP. i think some ISP do that service, i just do not know if it is for free. you can also change your internet service provider, choose an ISP that uses DSL connection so you can have your own ISP, unlike broadband connection that shares ISP with other subscribers.

As far as I am concerned, you cannot just change your IP address. Even if you reset your computer, the same numbers will appear. To change the IP address, you need to subscribe to another broadband connection that will give you another unique IP address.

You can just unplug and re plug your network cable to change a part of IP address. Last two figures of the IP (xxx.xx.xx.xx) changes every time you connect the net. You can see your IP information on logs tab at neobux where it shows from which IP you had logged in previously.

When you fully understand how the IP address is set up then you understand that the only way you can change the address is to- change your address. Yes, if you change the way your computer goes into to those places(your internet connection) then it will change it. You can also go to the library or something like that too.
