I started doing roller derby last year in May, and I absolutely love it. However, it is pay to play and I really can't afford to do it right now. While I enjoy skating around in fish nets and short shorts, I know that my money would be better applied elsewhere. But not only that, I have this feeling that I am letting my team down if I quit. Have you ever had to give up doing something you love for financial reasons? If so, how hard was it?
