What does music do to you?

Music sets our moods. It can make us reminisce those days when we were young. It could even make us cry . It could make us happy.
For me, it basically gives me different feelings . Sad ones, makes me remember those sad moments in my life , so i don't want sad love songs. Music of the 80's , makes me remember those happy days with my friends - going to discos until the wee hours of the morning. Songs such as Michael Learns to Rock, Don Mclean - makes me remember my husband because they are one of his favorites. Don't Know Why by Nora Jones - makes me remember my daughter because that's one of her favorites too and she sings them like Nora Jones too. Can't Take My Eyes Off You - makes me more in love with my husband.
How about you guys?

I don't think I can imagine how it would be to live without music,it expresses the whole range of human emotions, from utmost despair to happiness, and it certainly represents some kind of therapy for me when I'm sick of this mad world and I want a refuge for my soul.In fact, right now I'm listening to 'Child In Time' by Deep purple and I can't find words to express the emotions raised in me by this incredible song. There's almost no bigger pleasure in life than listening to the music you identiffy with and you really love!

Very, very true. Music invokes a feeling we sometimes do not know that it is just within us, just ready to be triggered by it.

Music is one beautiful thing that everyone will fall in love with, it doesn't matter what type of music but every individual has his own choice.
For me music is a great companion which never lets me down... I normally listen to light music, makes me feel relaxed, happy and think better... at many instances it has made me think different than what I normally dooo.. so listen to music, fall in love and live ur day happy :-)

This all depends on the kind of music i may be listening to at the time. Some music lifts me up and makes me happy. Other music takes me to a sad time and place, Sometimes what I am feeling adds to the music and my mood.

So that's why i don't like listening to sad music, or sad love songs. They do make me feel sad and i avoid that feeling as much as possible.

Music is everything to me, anything I am doing, I have to have music playing. It affects every aspect of my life. If I want to go down memory lane I know which music to choose, if I need a pick up on a sad day, I know which song to listen to. Even if I just want to drown in my sorrows for a while, I have play list for that also.
My husband does not understand how I can have music playing all the time. He wonders why I don't just like the quietness. But yet, I don't understand how he can do things while watching TV and he tells me it is just like when I listen to my music while I do things. But of course I see it differently lol
The one thing that I find amazing every time is how a song can come on the radio that instantly takes me back to a memory I had completely forgotten about, rather it is bad or good. So I suppose I can say that music can be used for a memory booster lol.
I love my music, and I am officially a 80's junkie !

Music does a lot to me. It's like a friend to me and music is also my life. I would be so lost without music. Whenever i'm down i listen to music, i listen to music while going for a run in the morning, i listen to music while preparing food or cleaning my room, actually i do everything while listening to music. It fixes my mood and makes me more happier.
