I am a man known for my will power and for my several achievements in my life! The achievements may be either from my professional life, personal life or from social life! If I determine any thing then I generally make it to accomplish it!
But unfortunately nothing is working for me to quit my bad habit of smoking! I try my level best to quit the smoking, but every time I try I get failed! Possibly this may be because of my job tensions, or may be it is because of the fact that I know that Cigarette smoking is an addiction having psychological and physiological phenomenon associated to it? What ever may be the reason, I find it difficult to quit smoking, though I feel very bad while smoking because of the guilty consciousness!
Can you throw some light what is happening with me and why it is happening with me and help me out? Please respond, Thanks in advance!

my friend says that she read in readers digest that and i quote 'eating apples helps quit smoking' and another way is to take pills recommended by your doctor.Don't expect miracles from yourself and take it slow.....know your limitations and work according to them.......GOOD LUCK

Hi Dear SomniatorIdealist ! Your friend , may be right! I have to visit a doctor and try with those nicotine patches on his/her prescription! Yes ...since I know my limitations and will power I am really getting frustrated at the fact that I am unable to quit this bad habit!
thanks for responding!

It must be that it is a huge responsibility for you to quit smoking..

The idea is interesting, but the responsibility it involves makes me hesitate [/i]
I got the quote as told by a 23+1 yr old "man in deep trouble" not that far around the internet world. The reply to that line was "and they look at options that will really suit you". You and him may be going through different problems but there's a common factor.

Hi Dear Cowboyofhell! It sounds quite interesting and it is thought provoking too!
Yes now I should give a deep thought about the quote and really ask myself if I am also fitting myself in the suitable slot of smoking to run away from the responsibility?
Thanks for the sensible response!
