I have used Dell since I was twelfth years old, actually it was my very first laptop my dad gave me and then I was twenty two when I bought mine, it was again a Dell Vostro A860. I prefer Dell because for me it is flexible, reliable and worth the price I paid for.

Hey seanless,
The question is what can you afford?
1) Well yeah I love the Apple products and I know I can afford it over time of saving. But in the end it would be worth the wait haha it would be like Christmas all over again if it isn't christmas already Haha the good thing is that they don't get viruses and not only that the look of there products is like a new generation look. When you pick one of them up it doesn't feel cheap at all. well yeah.. That would be my first choice ( by the way I am typing on My iPad)
2) my second choice would be Samsung they are a very good company and make awesome laptops they are expensive as well but again it worth the mney because your are getting your money worth. They aree creating new products and I have many Samsung products they make a long range of this TVs, Laptops, Notebooks, Tablets, Cellphones, cameras, cam recorders, even refrigerators. I recently heard in January they have new TVs coming out about 0.2 thick and that's like 20% of an inch. Beautiful products.
3) HP, DELL, SONY, Toshiba, they all make very good laptops and some are very powerful at a reasonable price. My father has one my mother in law has one. My sister law boyfriend has one. (toshbias) they make cry good products. They are very common and consider to be regular user choice to me.
4) ACER, ASUS, other non common companies would be my last choice since they are not common. I am not so sure about them but im not saying not to buy them. Usually no common laptop and despots and mostly notebooks are price reasonable and many people would by a small notebook if they can't afford a powerful device. I myself have ASUS notebook It was my first notebook/ laptop it was good but the screen started acting funny after a year and so yeah I try to fix it and i took the whole thing apart and realize it was a wire issues but it's okay and good notebook other then that problem. Good for a first laptop/ notebook, overall buy if you like Samsung started very small just like any company and became very powerful company and one of the best.
In the end it's your choice your price range and what are you looking for some people search for power some look for portability some look for quality , some look at price. It all depends what your going to do with your laptop and in the end that what matters the most.
Me personally I want to get the MacBook Air instead the MacBook Pro, why because the Air is more protbLe and yes it's less powerful but most of the time when I am on a computer or even on my iPad im surfing the web and if not watching YouTube videos which is the web and watching Netflix which is the web I do very little photo editing and ido that on the web as well on photo bucket. Or tiny pic. So I use most Most of my time n the web. So I don't need power I need protbabilty and the MacBook air is powerful and is very fast since it has a soild state drive which comes in handy with any computer laptop or notebook.
I wish you the best and hope you find Tyne laptop you a looking for that best fit your everyday needs and what you really want to get done. If your going to get very complex stuff like video editing done or a gaming guy then get a powerful computer. If not then you don't need much power. Good luck hopefully i was able to help

i have used Hp and Compaq. and i can tell you one thing, they are very bad. i would recommend all not to buy them. then i got an acer 10 inch one and it is working wonders. it has an atom processor so i generally use it when i go out and for normal surfing and after almost 2 years its going great without even a slight problem. the most important thing is it has travelled a lot. i travel to different places on bike and i generally keep it with me so that i can use the hard disk to store the pictures that i take and also keep a track how the pictures are coming in a bigger screen and also sometimes it help me book hotels and tickets when i go out. this is a big help and after all those stress on that small laptop its still running with no problem. i am very happy with acer and recommend others. also in office we have dell laptops. and they are nice and sturdy. they are on for almost 12 to 14 hours every day and mine has crossed 1.5 years and nothing happened to it. not even to the power cord and battery.

I think that everyone has their own particular choice but I personally would go for Dell, like the Dell inspiron range or something similar. I have been dealing with Dell for a long time and I'm really pleased with their customer service team, they've always been very helpful when I needed them. As well as considering the make of laptop you want to buy you also need to think about the specifications. What do you want to use your laptop for? Will it be gaming? Or is it just for basic use like Internet surfing and replying to emails? The higher the specs of your laptop the more expensive it will be.
Anyway, that's just my personal choice, Dell:) Good luck. Andrew

I would choose either HP or Compaq. They have supports available even after the warranty is expired (Not like Dell). You can find their Authorized Service provider. Drivers are easily available and you will get lots of service options as well.

If you have the money, go for Mac or Vaio, they're the best among any other products. On the other hand, if you cannot afford them, go for Toshiba. It's very reliable, durable, and the quality is great! it can be very competitive nowadays. anyway, it's your choice. good luck my friend!

you could go for acer. i am using one.
but personally, i don't decide based on the brand. i simply look for the specs. as long as i am pleased with it, then i would choose it. ifever different brands has similar specs, i'd compare the prices. then some characters like, does it get hot? (but i think it depends on the processor).
well if you have the money, then go for apple or sony. but for average guys, acer may have an edge over other brands in its category.

Hi,
For me personally i would recommend Dell laptops. I'm currently using Dell Inspiron 14R and mighty pleased with it. I find Dell quite affordable with decent quality. Since i am a gamer as well, i would want a laptop to play games and work at the same time. My current laptop allows me to play Starcraft 2 and some FPS without being too expensive. So if you are on a budget and would like a gaming capable laptop you might want to browse Dell websites.

I'm using a sony laptop right now and I think it's great. Sony always has a good reputation and they really make some awsome, cool laptops. And their after service is good, too.
