Hi,my friends! Nice to see u again here(I really like the sentence, lol!) I can remember many English words and any Clothing brands...But I can't remenber others' birthday. I always think that it is nothing serious until a friend asks me whether I can remember my parent's birthday or not.I felt sad when I couldn't answer any words. I must say sorry to my parent,it's not just the birthday problem,I must ask myself, how much do I love them? Why can't I remember the simple numbers?Maybe I didn't love them enough I think, they aways remember my birthday and gave a party for me,why can't I? Many people can't remember their parents' birthdays, just remember their friends' birthdays,is that right? Hey,my dear friends,do u remember your parents' birthdays? Have a good day! ^_^

I always remembered my parents birthday. As a child it was important for me to give ma a gift on her birthday. Of course they were usually things she didn't need. lol But it was the thought right? Both my parents are gone now but I still think of them on their birthday and wish them well wherever they are.

Hi there, Of Course I do remember my parents' birthdays. I am able to celebrate my own birthday because of them only; I can never ever forget their birthdays. I wish my mother every year on her birthday. My father deceased on October 10, 2002, from heart attack. I also remembers his birthday which is December 13th and used to remind my mother about his birthday, and we both remembers him and pray for his soul. You must be thinking that now everybody will say "yes". As far as I am concerned, you can check my response to the below-mentioned discussion here at myLot, started around February 1, 2011. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2482633.aspx We do celebrate my mother's birthday every year in a very decent manner. I used to wish her early in the morning and tries to make her happy by gifting her things of her choice. I also brings sweets of her choice from the market. My mother is very great, and I love her very much. She is such a great mother that whenever she feels cold, she make sure that her children are wearing sweaters. We are six members in family, and if someone has brought five pastries, it is for sure she doesn't like pastries. Yes, love at first sight does exist because when I saw my mother at first, I fall in love with her.

Hi Seanlee, Many thanks for sharing your feelings. Thanks for praying for my father; you are also a very good person with a kind heart. I am very sorry, I did not get the meaning of the last line of your comment. If possible please explain it for me. Hi Kathleenviliy, Many thanks for sharing your feelings. Yes I do celebrate my mom's birthday every year, but in a very decent manner. I gifted her shawl this year. Yes, I do spend time with her; I always have time for her. We live together and I sits beside her and watch TV and talk with her. Thanks for your good advice. You too have a great time.

Hi, I do remember my father's birthday, but not my mother's birthday. I do not know exactly what is the date of my mother's birthday and every year my siblings will SMS and let me know that tonight they will have dinner together for my mother's birthday. So for this year, I will be back to celebrate my mother's birthday together with my family. This will be also the very first time for me to celebrate my mother's birthday with my family. All the time, I am in overseas and never got the chance to celebrate my mother's birthday. As my mother's birthday will be up in another 2 more months, I am looking forward to it..

Hi dear, In fact I don’t know my parents birth days. My father expired 20 years back and mom is with us now. We lost many of our legal and other documents long back when they transited to a different location. Mom does not remember her own birth day because they don’t require it any more, she is telling. She say her age, but can’t make out the date of birth. If we go to the municipal office, we can get it. But she says now it has no relevance as she is old enough. The same with father also. When we were kids, we never celebrated birth days and have no importance to it. Now-a-days, birthdays are celebrating and we keep remember also. However, I loved a lot to my parents and that even they also know. Love is in the minds and I don’t think by saying or expressing love, it cannot be measured. It should be expressed, at least in the case of love – it can be of any kind of love, it should be experienced. Tank-s

Hi dear, It is alright. We will not get everything for ever. But I love my father so much and he was my role model and he taught many valuable things in my life. He is an exception and it is difficult for me to find such a man in my whole life. Really he is an exception and I admire him for his greatness. Hope your father and mother also love you so much and you also love them as much you can. They are the living Gods and I don't think we don't have any other name for God, after our mom and dad. Thank-s

Not remembering your parents birthday's is not a crime. I sometimes forget my parents birthday. I sometimes forget because I have a lot on my mind. In no way does it mean that you don't love them that much it just means you have other things on your mind or you are busy.

Yes, I remember my dad, my mom's birthday. I do give them cards and gifts each year. My mom is not a very expressive person, she won't show she wants that we celebrate for her birthday but indeed when she receive things from my sister and I, she is very happy that we can tell. For my dad, he will be happy like a clam when he receives things from us!

You know, after reading your post I realize how embarrassed I am by saying I don't remember my parents or my in-laws birthday. I don't know why, but it was never something I had to remember. They would always tell me in advance, "It's my birthday next week, let's go out to dinner". And that is that. But if I were to say I forgot my WIFE'S birthday...I probably wouldn't be alive to make this post!

Yes. But that's half-true. I only remember the day and month -- no idea on what year. lol. My mom's birthday was October 15 and my dad's was December 9. But, hey. At least I know when to celebrate their birthday. For my family, birthdays are very special occasions.

It isnt a matter of how much you love your parents. I am sure you love them a lot. Just because you cannot remember their birthdays doesnt mean you dont love them. I do remember the day they were born on such as my mother was born December 6th but I dont know what year lol. Same thing with my father I know the day he was born but not the year. So when it comes to how old they are I can only guess around 50.

You're not the only one in on this. I tend to forget their birthdays as well. I believe that it tends to lead more towards the way of what's the point of remembering their birthday if I can't afford anything for them rather then not remembering it because I don't love them. Regardless of whether you remember it or not, there's still that love inside.
