3 babies burn at ccmc a few days ago. such a slap on the face to hospital staff and administration. babies are newborn and are highly dependent in terms of care. the facilities of the hospital is not good enough to provide safety and sufficient care.

hello. thanks alot for welcoming me here at mylot. i also observed that in private institution, pay is higher but service are well regulated, nurses and other health care team are careful in dealing with the patients.

Oh my this is quite sad to read. I see from your comments to the responders that the parents were paid and waivers signed to keep them quiet. I do hope that they are now using some form of procedure to make changes as keeping the parents quiet will not change the fact that it can happen again. So sad indeed. I do see you are very new to myLot so a very warm welcome to you!

I heard over the news that the parents of the children were given some sort of money so that they won't file any charges. sad but so true. thanks alot for welcoming me. God bless.

I've heard about that. I think it had something to do with an overused lamp that exploded. Hospitals really should have very good facilities. People entrust their lives to them. It should be a crime if people get hurt due to negligent hospital personnel. What happened at CCMC was an accident waiting to happen, which unfortunately did. Hi. Welcome to myLot :)

What have they done?that is very painful for the mother and for the whole family of the babies. Even the hospital will pay charges, they still cannot pay the pain felt by the person affected.

the parents were paid the keep their mouth shot. in such case, a waiver is always given to the patient or the significant others so that they won't be allowed to file charges. What a pity!

Hospitals are designed to give room in providing quality care and optimal health. The administration and the staffs as well should pay extra attention related to promoting safety and preserving life. In this case, it's so frustrating to know that there has been an institution that was so lax wherein such an incident has had happened.

Hospitals is the very heart of the medical care. the blood line are the nurses, physician and the rest of the medical team. Responsibility is the light that keeps this business going.. that is to take care of the sick at any ages.
