Yes, he is right; any thing can be possible in the era of internet. If you use ATM, Credit Cards, online banking, and even if you do exchanges through your paypal account then don’t disclose your personal information and do not use public PC’s to excess for account inquiry and any type of trisections through online banking.

Well, some people are afraid to disclose this. I have never had an issue yet, as I also do an online Business and network with a lot of people all over the world, and do other things online here to make extra $$.

If a person feels comfortable posting all their personal information online that is fine.

I will not give out my personal information in an open forum like myLot, because it is nobody's business but mine. The other thing is that we do not know who is collecting this information. Look at some of the discussions here, asking what is your bank, do you use paypal or ikobo, your email address and so on.
If a person was to provide even some of that information, a smart scammer or hacker or fraudster could get fake ID made up. We all give away a certain amount of personal information just through taking part in this time of forum, so there is no need to make it easier for someone whose intentions are not honest.

well if you put you full name on here people taht know what they are doing and there are some people out there that look for names to scam. I for one don't have a prob posting my first and or middle name but will not my last for the most part. As for my picture no biggy. A lot of people don't like to post either name or photo and well in todays world that is understandable.

Well, I don't mind posting my picture on here.... if anyone stalks me and then ends up trying to break into my place, then they will be facing a 9mm once they've gotten in.

If a person feels comfortable posting all their personal information online that is fine. I know that I do not. I have never posted my photo on any site and try to avoid giving out my personal information in a place where anyone in the world can see it.
