I have been a Mylotter for several years now.
I met a lot of Mylotters here who are good
writers and who make really good and interesting
discussions. I admire MyLot admin who managed to
maintain the sites popularity and good traffic
in the web.
I have notices though members who joined here
for the mere purpose of promoting their sites,
websites and blogs. They have not started even
a single discussion nor responded to one. But
their profile page is full of banners, ads and links.
They also keep on sending friend requests not only
to hundreds of members but more than a thousand.
I honestly think that members like the aforementioned
should not be tolerated or maintained here. We,
Mylotters must have commitment as well to contribute
to this site and not just use it for our own selfish
intentions. What do you think MyLotters?

As for me, I believe there is no good of interfering their business here...We all have purposes why we are here in MyLot - it is to make extra money online - and as long as they are not bringing harm to MyLot community as a whole e.g starting racism-based groups/discussions, let them be alone. There is no use to attract extra enemy for ourselves...Let them MyLot their way, as long as we can MyLot our way...

It is not forbidden to have 100 banners in a profile -- you can verify : I have no banner -- ; we have some strange behaviors at myLot, and we see also new members coming here just to make friend requests -- they are often not the same members -- : I believe that it is what makes a great community. When they do not spam us with PM or discussions full of referral links, they follow the rules, are not harmful for other members, and may wake up and participate one day or another... I do not see why I would not accept them for neighbors...

Couldn't agree more with you...As long as they are not spamming us with their so-called "friend requests" and "invitations", it is okay let them alone. Else, I don't think most of us will tolerate...

Hi Dear alicia! I am an old member on this site who you can say is here almost since its inception! This makes me more pinched if I see the members who are trying to use this site for their personal benefits!
So far I don't have any blog of mine or I don't have any banners displayed in my profile and I hardly have sent any PM to any member! Yes in case if I really find any one's topic exceptionally well, then only I must have sent any PM to them to let them know that they did a good job!
In order to discourage such people I never accept a member with Zero score as a friend! In the recent past I rejected a couple of them in spite of repeated requests!
This is one of the way we can discourage these people!
Thanks for the discussion!

I agree with your contention regarding those who take advantage of this site. For that reasons, I am no longer admitting those who have zero credit to their names. I will wait until they have at least one credit before I admit them to my friends' list. There is no point of allowing people who are non particpating as they only end up being decorative accessories in our lists.

MyLot is a unique community with wonderful people from countries around the world, working together and helping one another. People of different cultures and traditions. Yes, I congratulate the founders of myLot for starting the program and keeping it going so well, desciplined and well managed in every way.

hi alicia,
The thing that I don't like is people sending you messages because they are promoting something and you don't even know that person nor had conversation with in any of the discussions in here.
