Hello Sanjeev,
I too used Avast for a couple of months. The sound of the antivirus seriously annoys me whenever it detects a malware or a virus. Other than that, it slows down the system boot up time and after using it for long, the system slows down gradually.
And about AVG, it just detects the malwares and the virus, but then it doesn't delete any of those. You can try Eset. It detects as well as deleted the malwares to a great extent, thus keeping your system away from the malicious objects!
Cheers!
Good day!

Hello mate,
I use eset norton antivirus. I feel so happy about using the free version of it. Its a trial version which is for free which you get to use for a time period of a month i.e. 30days exactly. After that you need to upgrade it. But i don't upgrade it and all. I just uninstall the antivirus and re-install it again. So, i get again a month of free trial period. I think even you can do the same and yam uninstalling and re-installing once a month is not a big deal at all!
Cheers!
Good day!

I will give my vote to Norton antivirus as well.
Years of use have shown that it is the most stable antivirus application.
Latest editions have been proven to be pretty light, even on a net book.
Best choice would be the Norton internet suit, which includes antivirus, anti spyware, anti-phishing and much more.
The free version is same as the commercial one, there is just an expiration date.
you can always reinstall it each month though.just remember to clean the registry each time.
