Is PTC an addiction?

Well...tonight I faced some crazy opposition. I just recently found out about PTC sites and other ways of earning money online, and I have to say that I've really been enjoying it so far. It's fun knowing that because of my simple actions, I'm earning a few cents for a couple of minutes on a site, where as before, I was constantly becoming bored with the content on the internet and found that I was really searching for something fun and different to do, not to mention the fact that I was in need of money to pay bills and such. When I found PTC and all of the other wonderful ways of earning money online....without having to invest any of my own money, just a little bit of my time, I became excited and went full force into it, just like I'm sure many of you did, or are doing right now. But tonight, I was at my in-laws house having supper and this topic was brought up, regarding making money online, so, being a new online earner, I mentioned PTC sites. Sure, it doesn't really sound appealing when you think about clicking at one site, especially when all you earn is 4 cents, but do that to 10 sites (7 of which I have open in my browser at once, cutting the time down significantly), and 40 cents are made for a few minutes of my time. Now, add direct and rented referrals, and that amount can increase exponentially. My family had a very difficult time accepting this fact and really tried to let me have it tonight. They came at me with everything from..."You're just a clicking slave!" to "Maybe you have an addictive personality and this has become an addiction for you.".....OMG, give me a freakin' break! I kept saying...."How much do you make online for the things you do? I don't see facebook paying you for your time spent there!" Personally, I don't really care what they think, but what about You? Do you think that PTC and earning money online is, or can become, an addiction? Or is it a smart way to earn extra money? Because of this conversation that I had tonight, I plan to take all of my PTC and other online earnings and rub it in my in-laws faces. lol Hmmmmmm....that leads to a second discussion......What is the best way to "rub" my online earnings in my in-laws faces? lol
