Well i'm that kind of person that gets scared real easily. But i do love horror movies and ghost stories. Well basically while talking about ghosts and stuffs i prefer doing it during the day so I don't care much and don't get so scared. But later that night I get so freaked out, all the stories comes back no matter how hard i try to block them. I get so scared for a couple weeks and can't sleep properly lol
So how long are you scared after hearing a really frightening story or a freaky movie??

I used feel so so fear about ghosts from my childhood.
But
from the past five years, i delete the word "fear of ghosts" from my dictionary.
Because i can walk on the forest even in the mid night also, i gain that confidence with my experience.
Have a nice day,
Thanks for sharing.
God bless you.

Generally I am a very strong person by nature, but something about horror films that cause me to gasp, it takes me through the night on the day I watch them to get over them.
Funny it is like a roller coaster ride, where as the entire time I am on the ride I am pleading for my life and the minute I get off I am relieved but looking forward to the next time. lol
Same with horror films also, I know ahead of time that they are going to frighten the begeezie out of me but I still watch them. lol

Honestly i avoid discussing about ghost or the like because me too have a hard time removing the thoughts into my mind, there some point that i feel i may dream those which causes me to be afraid to sleep.

Yes, i try my best to avoid such stories and movies but when my friends talk about such things, it starts to sound interesting so i give it a listen. And do i regret later? yes i do.

I don't like horror or ghost stories! Especially when it comes with movies and tv shows! I have watched some and it is not a good idea! I have nightmares and I can't think about anything less for a long time! I can't sleep with the lights off!Even when I would watch them during the day! So I stay away from them!

Yeah that is what happens to me too. Maybe we should cut the amount of watching horror movies to some bit. Thanks for responding and have a great day.

I seldom watch horror movies and I don't find any reason to get scared at. Yes it's frightening at the moment and makes your hair stand but after all it's just a movie. I don't how much most of you get so scared but I just watch to be entertained and don't put it too much in my mind. Maybe you are thinking too much about what you have watched and you let that scary feeling dominate you. Stop injecting too much scary thoughts in your mind because it's you yourself that scaring you.

actually no one wants to get scared. i'm not getting scared because i want to, it's because the thoughts don't leave my mind. if i could, i would block all those disturbing thought coz it's not fun not getting a sound sleep because you're scared.

I am not scared at all after watching because I don't watch horror movies. Why? Because I'm scared. LOL
I really can't stand looking at any monitor or big screen watching ghosts and horror movies. To be specific, I hate those movies that involves blood, or killings. I usually get dizzy while watching so I never watch at all and they come visit me in my dreams. That's super scary.

Whenever I watch a scary movie in the night I wait until it's 5:30 in the morning to fall asleep because that's the time my mother wakes up and then I can feel safe again. I know that sounds childish but it'll get me some sleep. I'd rather be awake with the t.v on and the lights on then be tossing and turning in my bed seeing them in my mind even though I know nothing's going to happen to me but it's just that I can't shake the image out of my head.
The last time I got really frighten was a few years ago when I saw The Happening. I only got 1 and half of sleep, I fell asleep on the bus missing my stop. Which sucked completely. After that I couldn't watch anymore horror movies.

i can totally relate to what you're saying. I have hard time sleeping while i'm scared too and eevn during summer when the nights are so hot, i can't sleep without a blanket. It feels like someone's coming to get me =(

Maybe if you are that scared you should stop watching. I know they are fun to watch but is it worth getting so scared. I used to be like that. I don't watch too much anymore.
