Changing the world is a very daunting task, and we can only do it if we start small then gradually taking up bigger tasks. And one very good place to start is our attitude. We need to have a can-do mindset. We need to believe that we can indeed change the world.

we should start on the way we think especially if we always think of the negativities of life. There are so many problems, be it personal conundrum or worldwide issues but we should not be disheartened with this things. Instead, we should regard them as inspirations and motivations to think and be more positive. A change in one's thought can be a nice start to make great changes. :) god bless you!

Hi Mhelisa and Rainbowliselle,
I agree with you both a hundred and ten percent, especially your thoughts Rainbowliselle. If only every person in the world thinks the way you do, then I would suppose there are no need for overbearing, exaggerated and sometimes preposterous laws, rules and regulations. Proper ethics, simple common sense and correct principles is what makes a man a human. A human being knows how to differentiate good from bad hence, he knows that things are not morally acceptable without propriety and propriety comes from a person with proper values enunciated from proper bringing up of good parents in the early years. I think what the world lacks now is the strong will to correct the wrong notion that in power, everything can be made possible and what is obviously wrong can be turned around and hence be made the norm especially if the doer is in superior position or someone in authority.
We can always start from ourselves but I believe it doesn't end there because we may do what is dutifully and morally right but our population is growing fast and I fear that children now are no longer brought up the way children were brought up in the past when HONESTY, INTEGRITY AND DIGNITY are the thrust of parents and educators and which advocacy is to bring up a morally dignified citizenry. I believe our present educators now should be up to it if we truly ever want a change. I am with you. Though it may sound like a dream, I believe there's still hope. It's never an easy task but it can happen.
Still, prayers move mountains and it's true that there is no mountain high enough to conquer.
Have a nice day!

The change should begin in us. I agree with you that we have to be discipline in so many things to see the change we expect to see. To cite some: following the laws set by the government, the proper use of waste management, patronizing our own products, paying the right amount of tax and a lot more.
If only everyone abides the rules and regulations set before us, life will be less complicated and less evil. Simple rules like crossing the streets. There are so many who don't make use of the pedestrians. A number of the drivers incur traffic violations. It takes two to tango they say so if only the enforcers seriously do their job and implement strictly the laws, for sure the drivers won't dare break such rules. As simple as this situation only tells that if everyone is disciplined enough to abide all rules, things won't be be as complicated as it is today. Yes, the change begins in us. Let's make a different and let start the first step to change.

I think we should start in applying discipline to ourselves in terms of waste management. The Earth now is so polluted that we are actually destroying it in the process. Throwing waste in the body of waters, cars that creates polluted smoke that harms the ozone layer and the likes should be eliminated. We should take care of the world that we live in first, IMO.

Change should really come from us. From ourselves. We cant expect everything to just magically change. We have to work for it. And t's best to always start the change within ourselves to set an example for others to follow. Its always the smart thing to do. You are right. If we cant commit ourselves to changing, how do we expect others to do the same. So i agree that change should always come from within. =)

I agree with you. It definitely has to be ourselves first. I think that I would start by thinking of ways on how to make politics something better. We all need government and all that but I think that there is so much to be done with regards on how it runs. People just want so much for themselves. It is just unacceptable. I think that everything that has to do with government is focused on the people. Government is just causing so much distress these days and I hope that things get done fast.

ok this question absolutely reminded me of Michale Jackson's song Man In The Miror and it is absolutely true. We have to start with the man in the mirror. Have a good day..
