There is one Public Library in the Community where I live. It is an excellent library, well managed and with a broad variety of books and magazines. many people of the community, young and old, go there for different needs and interests. I go there once ot twice a month to read magazines and relax, and some times I would borrow novels of my favorite authors.

I usually just go to get books and don't take long in the library, but there are some kid programs that our grandkids love to experience!

I often go to the libraries and this is because I love going there every now and then. I always learn new things when I return back or see something new,James is one of my favorite author and I got most of his books at home in my collection, what I am looking forward is the world book day now where I can buy more books at a better price. If you do not mind can you tell me which books you found by him?

Cool, I chose to get into 8th Confession first because I like the Lindsey Boxer character. But I have no doubt I will enjoy the others.

I do, but not very often. I'm a huge avid reader, but I prefer to buy books over borrow them. I go to the bookstore more than I go to the library. When I'm out of money then I go to the library because I can't stop reading just cause I can't shop for books. lol I still really love the library, but I haven't been in quite awhile because I got loads of books for Christmas (like more than 40... lol) and I've got 25 or so still sitting on my to-read shelf. When those run out then I'll be going back to the library.

I can spend so much time in a bookstore! I love to buy and keep, but my budget demands frequent trips to the library.

Oh I can spend loads of time in a bookstore too. The employees might even threaten to charge me rent. (It's happened before) Recently though I've made a new year's resolution to save money, so I'll be going to the library more often and not forgoing food and clothes to buy books. (A big problem of mine... lol)

I have quite a lot of books right now that I haven't read. I get them at yard sales etc and my mother does the same, so we seems to have lots of books between us to read.
I used to go to the library though ..a few years back. I loved the library. I would have to limit myself to 3 books only. I could bring home so many more.
I have read James Patterson...great author.

Three is my limit too, I try to read a book a week and the due date is always three weeks out.

I go to the public library which is located near our place at least once a week when I am not busy. It is such a nice place to learn and past the time away positively.

I take spells when all I want is non-fiction, and other times, like now, I want to escape into fiction.

I love going to the public library! I am fortunate that the one near me is very well stocked! I am also a big fan of James Patterson myself! Right now I owe dues so I am shying away from the library until they start the food drive for the holidays! I know my fees will be great! I took the books off of the desk while cleaning and put them on my book shelf.. Out of sight out of mind. I did not receive an email from them and they finally called the cellphone. I was very embarrassed and had my Fiance take them in the next morning!

I love going to the public library. Unfortunately I haven't had much reason to go in the last few months. I have tons of books on my book shelf that need to be read AND I just got a Kindle for Christmas. So, between the two, I haven't needed to go take any books out at my public library. Because I like to read both real books and books on my Kindle, I will eventually make my way back there. I just have a bunch of books on my own bookshelf that I want to read first. I love going to the library though. Just something about the quiet, relaxing feel and the smell of all those books! Love it!

I also read from my Kindle and my own collection. A couple of years ago I began checking out audio books from the library, so I can "read" when I am in the car, whether going across country or stuck in traffic!

Hi Errol,
I love the library. Our government see to it that it keeps running in good order. Lucky are those who consider the place their shrine of knowledge and wisdom for they shall be the great leaders someday. I go to the library almost daily and to travel the whole wide universe using the books like a time machine.

I wish more folks understood the blessings of a library as you do.
