Today as I was having my breakfast in KFC I saw a transexual person walking in to buy Kentucky Fried Chicken. Many workers in KFC suddenly so surprised and laugh at him. He is a male transfer to female. He has boobs and butts but her face looked not really a woman. After getting the meals, he was too shy and embarrased and went up to eat. I was there when the workers laugh and tease him but was unable to help. Teasing and not serving a transexual person would be the worst happen in KFC. In your opinion should that be ok and what would you do if you were me?

If I saw that someone was being laughed at for the way they looked (whether people thought him/her a transexual or not), I might well be inclined to ask them to come and sit at my table.
Such people don't do what they do or dress the way they do for a laugh. They are serious about it and that is why they risk public embarrassment. In other words, they are very genuine people with deep-seated ideas about who they are and why.
I would MUCH rather have a friend (however 'difficult') who questioned and accepted everything about his or her existence than a shallow person who lived only on the surface of life.

Hello Wong,
I don't think that would be the case here in my country, am very sure those people WHO HAD been complained at and probably loose their JOBS! that is outmost insult which they should have KEPT it to themselves. they are still serving customers and they absolutely have NO RIGHT to show their RUDENESS since that person is paying for the food and their Stinking services!

Some people can be very unkind to people that look 'different'. The man was trying his hardest to look like a female. It can't be much fun to feel like you are trapped in the wrong gender. The staff at KFC were really mean and horrible to laugh at him. They were incredibly nasty not to serve him. A book can't be judged from its cover and the same could be said about a person. If a disabled person is a wheelchair a person might talk to the carer but not the disabled person. Again this behavior would be mean. If I had been in your situation I would have said "Never judge a book by its cover" to the staff or "All people have feelings so please respect them".

Ugh, those people are just so mean! They're just the smallest persons! If I were on your place, I think I would contact the manager and inform them about their misbehaviors. They don't have a single right to misjudge other people. I mean, how would they feel if they walk in at a room and people will laugh at them and ridicule them? And not serving the transgender well? This is actually a case of discrimination! I would definitely report them to the manager!
And to think, all of us are not perfect. I'm sure that those people at the KFC also have their own imperfections, even worse. People should really look into the mirror first before judging others.

There is no way that is acceptable. As a business, those people should get in trouble. I worked in a grocery store, and there is no way that the store would put up with our actions. You see all there and have to stay professional. I cannot imagine how that person felt.

That was very wrong of the people at KFC to make fun of him. They should look at themselves first, they work at KFC, now that's something to make fun of. By the way this is just an example, you shouldn't make fun of anyone. There is a guy that walks around the town near me and he only dresses in dresses, even in the winter time. I don't see how he can do that, I'd be freezing something off myself. From what I've heard he is a nice guy but just likes to be left alone. I can see why.

That is really sad and very rude and unprofessional of the people who work at KFC. Working in the public they should be used to seeing a wide variety of people and should not be making fun of customers. And are they really sure that this person was a transexual? I ask because I have seen women that have lots of facial hair or kind of masculine features but they are truly female and visa versa.

workers at KFC should not have done that in my opinion. At least if I were worker at KFC, i won't do that. every human being should be equally treated.

I would be unhappy to see this happpen. I hope that I would have gotten up and left to support the transexual person. In this day and age bad treatment of any
person just because they are different should be frowned on.

Sometimes ts really hard to control oneself when you encounter this kind of people. We are only human. And we were born to err. But i think what we must do is put ourselves in their shoes and imagine ourselves getting laughed at. Maybe not for being a transexual, but for some other flaws that we have. Im not perfect. And yes I laugh at others too. But sometimes its really hard to avoid that. Maybe if I were there, I would have laughed too. But just for a little while. I do what I mentioned earlier everytime I encounter something like that...

Transexuals are also felow beings for us.There is no need of laughing and teezing at them.If it was me instead of you, then I could try to give some suggestions to the workers about the transexuals and how to treat them too

We humans are mean sometimes... i feel sorry for him... but if I am there I will not laugh or even have a reaction coz I dont really care at all thats his life and he can do whatever he wants...
Ive seen a lot of transgender here in my country and believe me they are even beautiful than me! well I dont know maybe its dark but I saw few in the morning too and they actually look like a girl dont know bout the voice though coz I usually just saw them never heard them talking..
and here in my country there are few people who like to trip on those who dont really look like a girl sometimes they hit them even on the streets,or do something mean to them.. So every gay that I will see here..they are just so beautiful.. maybe they are afraid to be beaten or what so ever,, and I feel sorry for them for having a life surrounding by people who are narrow minded...

I think that those who were laughing and teasing that person are rude. I don't think that doing that was necessary. It is as if they were judging. We have all the right to do whatever we want with our body and others should respect that. Some may say that it is not socially acceptable but he was just having some food to it. He was not doing anything wrong with anyone that time.
I just believe that it would be better just to do what it right and to make fun of other people is just not one of them. Stereotyping never does good to anyone.
I just wonder if they were on his situation being laughed at and all that. I just wonder of how they would feel and react.
