INDIA vs ENGLAND match TIED...........India 338----- England 338/8

ya it was supe match between two equal power teams, I thought both teams are good in their batting, and same way weak in their bowling, thats what helped to have this big run flow and a tie in the end.

Hi ramaswami, No doubt the match was a thrilling one and I really enjoyed. Did you notice how the game was tossing around? Sometime India's favor and sometime England's side. The match went tied but as audience before the TV set enjoyed the dark, blue, red xolor on the face of the players. But India could have won the match had there been an expert bowler. It is the bowler who sank the team.

yes he played a gem of an inns. i know sachin also played well and scored 100 but that was in the first inns and so there was no pressure. but for strauss it was a target which was huge. 339 on any given day and pitch is not the best score to chase but he kept his nerves and did well. the best thing about his inns was his risk free approach. he managed to get boundaries at right time with less risk which created more problem for india.

It was indeed a tantalizing match! Okay, it ended in a tie and both the teams are happy and a bit disappointed at not being ended as winners. But as an Indian I would like Indian bowling and fielding to improve. Or India need to be ready to face defeats against other top teams. Happy Mylotting!

This match shows every fault and strength of both the teams, Dohni failed in setting the fielding and the fielders are not upto the mark at this tight situation. Of course pressure builds up not only upon the bowlers n batsman but fielders too which made them costs for it

Great match but india could have won it easy according to me the batting of both side where good the match just turned in piyush chopra over with that two six which change the game and made it a thriller anyway what a match.....great

Hi Dear Ramaswamy! I agree that it was the one of the best cricket matches one can ever see, as there was every thing in the match. Good score by the first team and fantastic chase by the second team with lot of up downs in the match pumping the adrenaline levels of the body up every time! This I am saying as a Fan of the game Cricket! Now if you ask me as an Indian, I would definitely say that India never stood to the expected standards any time in the match and they disgracefully drew the match.India had an advantage of home ground, with a fantastic crowd cheering for the every run they were scoring, they were having the experience of Chinnaswamy Stadium,in spite of this India couldn't win the game! From Indian side Sachin was good and he successfully and sensibly played good innings and added 120 runs. Sehwag as expected proved once again that he is not a dependable player for Indian team! Though the middle order was OK with good partner ship, the tail enders were absolutely disastrous and couldn't even complete all the 50 overs! In the fielding side, India once again proved that our players are not fit enough and they have performed a poor show in the fielding. The loose fielding of the team has easily helped the England team to score many singles and twos, which could have been easily eliminated! On the contrary , the tailenders of the English have shown fantastic courage and they got two sixes at the end of the match! Well though India has managed to draw the match, in my opinion, India lost the match and also the claim of the 'Would be Champions' or 'Favorite Team'! If some thing drastic is not made within the team strategies it will not be an easy sail for the Indian team to make it! Thanks !

I agree, India had made a total score of 338 which was a good start. But lack of bowlers was an issue. I felt India would loose at the end but was bit relieved when the match got tied. Great innings by England.

ya its really an awesome match,till the last moment every1 got tensed, i eagerly waited what's going to happen in the last ball but luckily , the match got tied and thank god v din lose it , or els sachin's effort wud go into vain na and our players too showed their efforts but they could have taken those wickets a bit earlier. As someone said 'whole INDIA is there to suggest the play except well playing eleven players'. and its really true

It was really a great match. I think both teams competed very well and neither team deserved to lose. So it was a real fair result for two teams that are good with the bat and not so great with the ball. Even the fielding of both the teams seemed to be a notch below the international standards. Hi ramaswamy, i thought that india will take this match as serious as much. But Indian bowlers had failed. Bowling is the weakness for us. And fast bowling is not effective on england batsman. Whenever Sachin will do the century, then the match will loose, this had happened many times in history.

Finally England snatched one valuable match from india.(Thanks to Z.Khan) What should we mean for this,Indian team still not taking any match seriously,specially in big scoring matches indian bowling is always poor in over confidence.also still our team has not learned lesson of every SINGLE run.After 1 run decides a match.

Hello Ram, Yes it was a wonderful match, very entertaining but I thought if India would have lost then there would have been a chance to revisit all their departments and be prepared for the worst... no doubt they batted well but the important thing is that only batting will not help the team to win.. team is been doing good for a while and a lose in a world cup would thought them great lessons... I am a big fan if Indian cricket and I want them ti win every match but I see the attitude is not working great with few players and things have been taken very lightly.. so a lose would have been for them to correct heir mistakes..I am just being practical... but anyways it was worth watching...
