How often have you changed your myLot Avatar?

I think I may have changed mine once before I don't remember. I might change it but I think it's easier for people to recognize the same avatar if you don't change it a lot. Even if you can't remember someone's username you can recognize them by their avatar.

This is the second avatar that I have had on this account. The other one was very similar and I changed it because soneone else decided to use it too
I agree that jepping the same avatar for a long time helps others to recognise us sooner - though some would be easiy to distingish through their writing even if they had nothing at all

In my 9 months on myLot this is my third avatar, but I have kept the same theme with all of them as this way I could be recognizable. I like avatars as they are a way my brain connects the avatar with the user name.
I can easily remember ID names even without the avatar but it does make it easier if they had a picture of some sort as this way they could be spotted instantly. As I like to respond/or read friends discussions as soon as I open the boards.

I agree that people recognize you easier with the same avatar. The last time when I changed it was the time when I came back to mylot again. I was using my picture in theprofile back then but things have changed, I put up a picture with my baby sonand my doggie.

But there are a lot of you about and that makes you just like the rest of the crowd.
Don't you think it is nicer to have something that helps others to recognise you sooner?

I think I have change my avatar a couple of times depends on my mood.I'm not really aware: how long they last because I have a very unpredictable personality. Sometimes I feel like keeping an avatar that sometimes don't change it and get rid of it. So either is some inconsistency in the site and have with averages that only lasted for days while others lasted for months. I think I have one that's lasted for about half year

This avatar is only my third avatar in 2 years. I probably won't be changing it again. I did change it at Christmastime as I wanted a Christmas theme, and then I chose the one I have now, and I will keep it for the duration. I think it is much etter not to change to much, as it is easier to recognize a user by their avatar. I could put my own picture as my avatar, but I have chosen not to. Take care, and enjoy your day.

I haven't changed my avatar here. And I took it from my Facebook profile. I didn't wanted to put my photograph there and I searched for some picture in the net. I don't remember how I found this lily-of-the-valley, but I feel that it suits me well and I don't want to change it.

i never change my avatar since first time i joined here. I think change it frequently is just don't make sense because we only using it like an ID of ourselves.
Like you said, stick with the same avatar will make it easier for people to recognize who we are.
But there is no problem with the people who always change their avatar frequently, just do what you want to do.
