i want to contact Mr Bill Gate concerning a promotion done by microsoft and sweepstake.I am one of the winners.I have been asked to pay an ammount as notarization fee before my winnings could be sent to me.They said it could not be deducted from my winnings because of a hard insurance cover from the promotion place. Please Sir,my problem is that,I cannot be able to pay the money. I have pleaded with them to notarise my file for my as a loan and send my winnings so that i pay them as soon as the money gets into my account.
This is why I want to contact Mr Bill Gate,I want to plead with Him to help me.

Ya, I've also heard of such scams for a while now.
Although we cannot always say that all the emails are "scams", but to win a sweepstake or a contest, one has to take part in it (sending a email or entering our contact details on a site or something).
So if you hadn't entered you name in any such sweepstake/contest, most probably it is a scam to cheat you of your money.
BEWARE!!

This is nothing but a scam. One of my friends got an email like that and he was very exited. So what I did was I also replied to them as if I am also a winner. You know what? Both of got the same reply requesting us to pay processing charges, whereas I am not even a winner of the promotion. You will get more emails like this in future. So just watch out. When something is true good to be true, it is not true.

You can find him at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where he spends his days now that he has given over his powers at Microsoft.

don't be blinded by greed my friend. clearly its a scam. i have been getting this kind of emails and even the nigerian scams are more rampant nowadays.
the sad thing is people still send in 1000 dollars or 10000 dollars for processing fees. what is this ? are they really that dumb ?

Dear Respected Sir,
I am also one of the winners of draw conducted by Microsoft Promotion. I am asked to send a considerable amount. Can I get assurance from the honourable chairman of Microsoft Corporation of U.K.?. I need this assurance so that I can confidently send the required amount. The early response is solicited so as as to take immediate action within stipulated time.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Kanakababu

Are you sure that this is not one of those scams? I feel it is another scam. I suggest instead of finding out where Mr. Bill Gates is you can simply write an email to Microsoft aksing them to confirm that whether they send this mail to you or not? From the details you have submitted here it does gives the feeling that this is another scam mail.
