Why should some people cannot be contented what they have?

Because human beings are engineered to always aim higher and always try to get more than what they have. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to not be content with what they have and strive more. But there are things you should never let go once you get it, like love. I have found the love of my life and I will never strive for something more with that.
