ATI Vs NVIDIA?what is the best video card this year 2011?

hi guys i just want to know what is the best video card for this year 2011 and difference between this two high end video card like 6970 radeon and nvidia 580.give me details like performance, power consumpton and prices.thanks :)

The HD6970 may not be able to keep up with the GTX580 but the HD6990 is still easily going to be the fastest single card. It seems that MD is again going to have the fastest card. The HD6990 is going to go unmatched. Hope this help.
