Newspaper and TV like to report on the private lives of entertainers and other celebrities. Some say that pulic figure should have the right to privacy in their priate lives but others disagree. Are famous people entitled to privacy?

I believe that every human being is entitled to privacy. If they donĀ“t have it, the lose part of their freedom. Being famous is just a part of them but not all. A famous star can accept lack of privacy while he accepts to talk to the media, but noone has the right to stlk him.

Here's the thing about celebrities and privacy. Some of them manage to keep it very well. They don't go to social events and get stupid sloppy drunk or show up stoned. They don't dangle their babies over their balcony railings. They don't fight with their spouse in public or have quickie marriages or cheat where people can see them. They don't do things that call attention from the paparazzi. I think, for the most part (there are always exceptions) the people who are always on the covers of the Enquirer or whatever supermarket tabloid you can think of kind of want to be there. Brangelina, Tom and Katie, even Kate Gosselin... I think in some ways they hold the view that all press is good press, all exposure is good exposure. Occasionally something will happen, like Jesse James cheating on Sandra Bullock and their subsequent divorce, that no one expected or wanted to be public but there it was. But still, she managed to keep all of that very quiet until just before their divorce was finalized. Someone else (I can't remember who now ) managed to keep her pregnancy out of the press. The first anyone even knew she was pregnant was when she gave pictures of the baby to People. So it can be done, I just think some celebrities choose not to.

I think everyone whether they are famous or not need their privacy.I think public figures attract lot of attention themselves so they get less privacy than any others.but one cannot deny the fact that personal life means something.everyone shoould respect others whether famous or not and their privacy too.

Press reports their deeds because they can sell.I feel what applies to ordinary folk ought to apply to them.Their privacy ought to be respected as long as they don't break a law.If they transgress a law they have to be punished and reported like all people.

That's the irony of being famous. Many of them started as unknowns wanting to be known ONLY to reach that stage and hope they become unknown. LOL... That's the price they have to pay. Everyone deserves privacy. But don't forget they are now known as public figures. The only way for them to have privacy is to regress back to obscurity, but I think it is easier said than done sometimes. They probably have a love-hate relationship with their existing status.

Absolutely, famous people should have their own privacy.Sometimes, they were photographed some of live photos or something eles by reporter, they are human being, they also need privacy,we have no right to pry into other people's privacy.

Yes I think they are entitled to a certain amount of privacy, they are just like anyone else, they should have the right to their own lives...

Of course because they are also human beings. This paparazzi and media just wanted to make story out of celebs normal life and make it a big thing to earn.
