Mylot friend

I check the profiles and what their interests are. Many are only looking for money making info, those I don't accept.

Hi. mayka123. Yes, I have started to check the profile of people that send me a friend request. I do this because I want to know more about them. And I want to know where they are located. I have both male and female friends here on myLot.

Hi there! I do not add anyone without checking his/her profile. If the number of post is very limited on a user's account, I normally hesitate to accept and if I find that the discussions started by that user is of no interest to me, I skip his/her request. I have recently received some requests with zero post under the user's belt and I find no point in accepting those requests.

I do check profiles before I request or accept. It is mainly because I want to see if they are really interested in the discussions here or if they are just trying to recruit people. I usually don't accept if they have not responded to one of mine or my friends discussions. I don't want to be a "random" friend here. I want to be requested because they want my input. I take my friendships here very seriously.

Hi mayka... Its not the matter what is the gender.... if a mylotter is too supportive to me, then i request him/her as to be my friend.... now a days... i request less... but never deny any request from other. For me, friends are always great... not the matter, male or female. have a nice day.

I have yet to go through the profiles but I do add people as friends who reply to discussions and if I find their replies interesting and somwhat to my liking.

No I don't. I just added someone as a friend and I didn't check their profile. I may check it out of curiosity but I don't specifically look for anything when I am adding friends. I don't care about their stats.

I dont usually check the profile of the person asking for friendship request here in Mylot. I would usually approve a friendship request if I see them replying to my discussions. For me, it would mean that we might share the same interests. I ask for friendship request from someone who has sincerely replied to my discussions.

Seriously? I haven't checked that but will now, and going forward. If i see a person adds me, i just accepts the friend request and if someone responds to the discussions I made which are not part of my friends list yet, I usually add them but i haven't taken into consideration on looking into their accounts but i guess its essential. Thanks for the idea.

I decided when I joined this site that I would accept any friends requests, so I did, without checking their profiles, first. I sent friend requests to some which I really like from their responses and comments, and I consider them "friends" albeit online. However, for every friend requests that come my way, I would just add them and hope they will be active in responding and commenting, too. If they don't, it's okay too. I joined other a language learning site where I am very selective of friends to add. But not in this site. The merrier the better.

Hello Mayka! No I don't really check their profiles, but I just want to have many friends in here so I usually accept them up if I see they're adding me too. As long as they are legitimately working out their own contributions as mylotters then there is no doubt they could be easy and cool to be friends here. I got more than half a year anyway that I lost here, I was so busy with my job before so this is to welcome myself back here in MyLot.com, yet this is my start to commit once again with my account and join with you guys in various new issues and even hot topics that we would/should discuss too. Indeed, I miss you guys!

Hi mayka! That's what I also check first before adding a friend. I usually check the discussions started and responded to know if we share the same interest. Having the same interests is important to me so that I can respond to discussions he/she started and the same with him/her to my discussions. Of course not just simply discussions but interesting discussions. Have a nice day!

hi mayka there is nothing to take from male or female in this site as this is not a social networking site.and still many person do that then you cant help it so let the person do what they like and do what you are here for. happy myloting.

Well I don't actually differentiate any one as male or female friends. As mylot is a network for everyone to interact and make some profit, I add everyone as my friend.. especially friends my interests.. The idea is to take your discussion to as many as friends possible and get better response and keep the discussion as interactive as possible.. so more number of friends better the results..

Earlier, I would check each and every friend request I got and only after I was satisfied would I accept. But now I accept everyone who sends me a request. BUt I happened to check one profile last week and I feel it's a guy posing as a girl. So, I'm yet to accept that one. One of these days I will have to do some 'friend list cleaning' :)

Yes, i do check the profiles before i add anyone. There is one thing i look for usually where they are from.

I only look for discussions. I don't mind adding friends her though so this wya, I can find more discussions that is started by friends.
