Natile Portman as expected won the 'Best Actress' categories. and
Colin Firth for his role in King's Speech won the Best Actor.
Movie was quite not expected, "The Kings Speech". I thought Social Networking will take the honor.
It was worth watching movies nominated this year, quite an 'Oscar Journey'.

I expected the Kings Speech to take quite a number of Oscars. It's the kind of film that the Oscars usually go for. Realistic, a bit artsy, and less popular than some of the main titles. I haven't seen it yet but my Mom did and she was absolutely talking my ear off about what a good movie it was. Personally I'm just not interested, but I might have to see it sometime anyway just to get her to shut up about it already. 
I love my Mom... but we don't always share the same likes in movies.

trust me the movie is great, slow and patience. I wont disappoint you!!!!
It is worth watching, the actors are all great there....

I honestly doubt I'll like it. It's just not my type of movie. Just because the Oscars thinks it's amazing... doesn't mean I will! I'll probably see it anyway when it comes out on DVD and I can get it from the local redbox. But I make no promises of not being disappointed. lol
