Books, please recomend me something good to read!!!

HI friend... I read a less amount of books in english as i am poor in this language. yet, sometimes i am bound to read and thats why i can recommend you my best favorite three books in english... 1. WAR AND PEACE 2. THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA. 3. MEMORIES OF MY MELANCHOLY WH*RES. TAKE CARE.

Wow...I wonder what it would be like to read every book in my house... Scary concept. Have you tried any of Jim Butcher's books? The Codex Alera is a six book series (which he just finished...maybe in 2009) and it's a political/military fantasy series, set in a Romanic world called Carna, primarily in the country of Alera. And The Dresden Files (which I am addicted to!) is a first person narrative from the point of view of Harry Dresden, a wizard for hire living in modern day Chicago. He's released thirteen of them so far, plus three (or four) supplementary stories, one of which was a graphic novel (Backup), illustrated by Mike Mignola, all about one of the secondary characters.

Please do try 'The alchemy of desire' by Tarun Tejpal and 'The white Tiger' by Arbind Adiga. Some other books are: Atlas shrugged,Fountain head both by Ayan Rand The alchemist by Paolo Coelho.
