the cold rain is beautiful and yet you say nothing lasts forever.
the one that's been through my internal self for about 2000 times,
the one that brings all bad yet memorable flashback dropping on me gently ,
the one that is still shining itself right while i'm writing these words,
the one that makes me so joyful to long for a drippy paradise like hell.
when i was old this song started to flush off dust beneath everyone's heart,
when i would be young i'd have to take my hat off to guns n' roses
the cold rain will be beautiful when you are saying nothing lasts forever.

I love the song too and always turn it up when I here it. The accompanying video is a pure epic. Sometimes I think that band burnt themselves out making 'Use your Illusion I and II' and they never quite recovered from it. Just my opinion.

'November Rain' was part of a double double album project ('Use your Illusion I and II). Each of those was a double album in its own right. They followed it up with 'The spaghetti incidident' which consisted entirely of cover songs and then kind of disappeared.

I haven't heard this song in a long time, but I remember that then, I liked this song as much. yes, nothing lasts forever in this cold November rain.

yes- i remember when that song first came out- pure power and magic. nothing lasts forever- like rain falling down. it comes then goes- makes way for something else-like all things- we have to enjoy things while they last- most of all the people in our lives who we love.
