Just this morning , I read this scripture from the internet; Recently, I read a story about nine very powerful businessmen who met in the early 1920s for a high-level meeting on various business matters. These men were leaders of some of the largest corporations and controlled immense amounts of wealth, both their personal wealth as well as the wealth of many stockholders of their companies. Meetings like this are a regular occurrence in the business world, but what is interesting, and sad, is where these men were twenty-five years later: three had died completely broke, three had killed themselves, two were in prison and the last was insane. My thoughts : I was shocked of the outcome of this businessmen, but this happens to be true. A number of wealthy businessmen from around the world as I have read in the news, killed themselves, us not knowing what could have gone wrong with them? Isn’t being wealthy something to be happy about? Maybe , it’s not after all happy to be on the top. Don’t you think so guys?

It's hard to tell based on that few facts. A lot could have happened to them during the 25 year period. What is sure, though, is as they say, "It's lonely at the top." But, wealth could be manage in a way that it could still give you happiness. Of course, if you value it above everything else that really matter like family and virtue, then it could be disastrous in the end. But, there have been, and there are people like that who have managed their life, and wealth, well.

A lot of people also who managed to reach the top, are able to maintain their riches in a nice manner. It's sad though, if you are already on the top, but then with mismanagement slid down again to the bottom. Yes, that's right, it's lonely at the top, as rich people do say sometimes.

Yes, that's right. It's so hard actually, I mean, you're already there and then you mismanage. What's more sad, is those who have inherited their riches, and because they have not worked as hard as their parents who gave them all those through their hard work, they don't appreciate it, waste the money, and end up penniless.

That usually happens to those spoiled children left with so much money by their deceased parents. The squander it and end up penniless at the end. How pathetic they could be.

Well wealth is not a certificate of happiness you can purchase comfort and facilities with wealth but you cannot buy love, satisfaction and happiness with wealth. Someone have to think like a normal human to get happiness in life by creating relations and loved ones which lacks in the top business elite and one of the main factors is less time that's why they dont look happy with their life.

Very true. In the rush of making those riches, they forget their loved ones or acquire a love of their life. It's too late when they realize , money can't buy them the happiness of having a family .

Well it depends what comes first in your life. Too much money may indeed give you a lot of problem if and only if you give too much focus on it. If you let those riches control you then you will be in trouble. What you need to do is the other way around. You must be the one to control those riches. Spend it a right manner and you will never have any regret. Also you should not make these riches become your priority. If you value it too much, you will forget about those important things that surrounds. you just need to enjoy these riches and need no to worry about it.

I think, to some who gets to the top it means so much to them. They forget to give time to other things specially giving God the glory.
