She might as well be impeached if the people cannot trust her anymore. What's the use of having her in the position if she isnt reliable?

Her appointment was really dubious already and I think to make things straightforward I think it is about time the she face the music of being impeached. I think she is given the privilege to defend herself in the House so I think it is a matter of handling this case. For as long as she tries to evade everything the more clamor for her to be impeached. Now, if she is clean of anything then there is really nothing to fear about being impeached.

The Ombudsman Gutierrez had long been hiding the law under insufficient or weak evidence. The fact that the House of Congress had made a motion for impeachment means the people are jittery as to what kind of justice system we have in this land. Again, I reiterate, it seems to favor the powerful who can interpret or maneuver the law according to their liking!

I totally with the impeachment process against Mercedita Gutierrez. She is not doing her work prosecuting government officials that defy the law of conduct. For one, she was a former classmate of then First Gentleman Mike Arroyo. Anything that has the former administration linked to anomalies, she plays deaf. She has become inutile of the post she was appointed to. It is such a waste of money and time having her on her post.

Yes, I agree. Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez should be impeached for dereliction of duty (intentional or unintentional. But I am leaning more to intentional).
When I heard she sat on the the case of Joc-Joc Bolante instead of filing charges of corruption, that should be the last straw. This woman is a big protector of all the corrupt criminals of the past administration, and herself should be investigated for connivance with these thieves.

I agree with the impeachment of the ombudsman in the Philippines.
I do believe she did not maintained her her function as an ombudsman.
I learned from the news that she failed to do some important functions which has something to do with the graft and corruption of the former administration.
I just cannot recall exactly what that was.
Just hoping the impeachment will pass to the congress and let her be impeached.
