did you have a carefree teen-age life?

Now that some of us are older, we could always look back at those days when we were just teeners or youngsters.
For me, those were my carefree days. All that I have in mind is to enjoy life without having to work for it yet, because my parents can provide for me. I was always out with my friends; biking , camping and swimming at the sea because the sea is just 5 blocks away from our place. It was a happy , carefree teen-age life indeed.
What about you guys?

Actually i have reached the final years of my teenage years:( I did have lots of fun and crazy time and i'm going to miss it a lot. I also had a carefree teen age life, the only thing that worried me was getting good grades. But now i wanna get a part time job and earn some money of my own.

Nice to hear that you had a happy teenage life also.
Actually, getting a part time job while in our teenage years will be a lot more fun. You get your own money to support you in achieving more than simple teenage activities that requires money like enrolling in karate lessons etc. without having to ask from your parents.

I absolutely feel the same. But i've been looking for part time jobs for the longest time and still haven't been able to get one. Hopefully I'll get one this year. It would be great to earn some money of my own and have some experience to jot down on my resume =D

I guess I can characterized my teen-age years as such. I mean, my only worries that part of my life are my studies. Besides that, I was enjoying and having fun (my definition of fun, by the way). I do what I like and nobody expects anything from me except for my studies. I learned to be an independent in what I do in my schedule for a little bit and didn't bother to sweat the small stuff.

Well, the study is the only problem we have during our teenage life . But actually, it's not a problem but just a task that we just have to comply with. If you study and do your assignments religiously, you sure have no worry about it. You can have your fun as much as you want to.

yes i did have a carefree teenage life and i miss those days alot no worrys about bills or no troubles just fun times with friends .. seems we always had friends around to play games , cards, play outside, tag, ride bikes, we had so much fun
and we never even had expensive stuff like the kids do today and i had way more fun
with just the simple things...

Yes, my teenage years don't have those expensive stuffs of today, so i guess my parents were not that stressed with finances. 
They were only simple no expense activities . We only need our friends to enjoy them .

We have our free will during our teen-age life whether to enjoy it without qualms or to help our parents in any way we can to sustain our daily living.
It is sad to note though , that here in our place, small kids are made to peddle to help their parents eke out a living. In some cases, it is the parents that told them to do it, but in other cases, it's the will of the child to help their parents, seeing them working hard.
But generally, our teen-age life should be carefree, because next stage to that, will be the start of our responsible years.
