can't wait for the next evanescence album

i love evanescence and i have since i was like thirteen....i had all three previous albums (including the "anywhere but home" one). as the days are passing, i keep looking up their third album to see if there is any update on when the next album will come out. the fans are starting to get restless...at least i know i am. right now all i have is clips posted on youtube from their twitter page...so far it sounds great though :)

I'm anxious for their new album, too. I checked out their official website back during late summer last year and it said that the new album was scheduled for a late fall 2010 release. That news was posted in April of last year. Now, when I got to their site there is no news about anything. I hope they are still together. I guess we would have heard something if they weren't.

yeah their website is pretty much useless right now. the newest thing they have on there is "together again"...no news about official songs on their next album though. as far as i know they are still together, but there has been a rumor floating around about amy lee releasing a solo album at some point, so maybe not.

It does make you wonder when there is no news coming out about a band. I can't help but wonder if they have broken up or are in the process of it. But, Def Leppard fell off the radar for awhile when Rick Allen had his car accident and lost his arm. And, after a few years they came out with a hit album and are still together as far as I know. So, it's hard telling what is really going on in the Evanescence camp. I hadn't heard about Amy Lee wanting to do a solo album. Members of bands do it all the time without the band breaking up so that may not mean very much. But, then again, it might. Who knows? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

yeah destiny's child did that (if you know who they are...if not, they are -well were- an r&b girl group). all three members came out with solo albums back in like 2003-2004 and then the group still got back together and released a "comeback" album, but then they broke up after that. anyway about the amy lee album, i highly doubt that will ever come out...i mean the evanescence album might not even come out at this rate

I hope they can make a huge comeback, their 2nd album is a success but guess what, many people who likes their 1st mainstreme album are not even aware of their 2nd album. so they need to a mainstream comeback because mainstream music nowadays kinda suck and Evanescence can cure it. i hope they can make epic songs again. I want them to make a duet song again.

well you may be looking out for quite a while...it is supposed to be coming out this year, but then again, it was originally supposed to come out last year...i am almost starting to think it will never come out :( but hopefully it will be out may of this year (that is when it is rumored to be coming out, but i doubt it. there hasnt even been a single yet)

I absolutely looove Evanescence. Amy Lee has the most amazing vocals. I wish i had an awesome voice like her too. Man i didn't know they had a new album coming :S anyway thanks for the information and yeah evanescence rockk.

yeah she really does have a beautiful voice. i often sing evanescence songs and try to mimic her voice, but it very difficult....anyway, you didnt know much less than me about the new album because i just found out a few months ago, but there has been no updates on the release date (it was postponed)

I heard that it was coming out summer this year in the US, but if you live in the UK or elsewhere you might have to wait longer for it to be on the shelves of the local music shops. I'm betting that it won't b available in shops till April 2012. I don't think that the band has split up because Amy would carry on with her work even if it meant going solo, it'd just take longer to get the album out on the shelves. My best bet is that you just keep checking back on thier fanpage often. I'm a huge fan too and unlike many, I do have a very strong voice very similar to Amy and I love singing Amy's songs, but the only problem is that I'm very shy singing inront of people, lol.

wow that's not good....that is ridiculous making people wait that long. this must literally be the best thing ever because they make it seem like there will be no other album like this one. anyway i am curious to know what type of music she would do solo, but i would still miss evanescence if they broke up. and wow that is cool that u have a voice like hers. maybe u should record an album too lol

Does anyone know when the new album will be released I have been looking every, online and in stores and all I can find is expected 2011 but does anyone else any more definite dates? Thanks
