With the astrology chart created because the earth has slowly changed its access over time. With the new chart I am no longer a Pisces, but an Aquarius, I don't know how to take that, I have always been a Pisces and regardless what anyone says I will continue to be one.
Here is the new dates
Here’s a list of the updated new zodiac signs:
January 20-February 16 - Capricorn
February 16-March 11 - Aquarius
March 11-April 18 - Pisces
April 18-May 13 - Aries
May 13-June 21 - Taurus
June 21-July 20 - Gemini
July 20-August 10 - Cancer
August 10-September 16 - Leo
September 16-October 30 - Virgo
October 30-November 23 - Libra
November 23-December 17 - Scorpio
December 17-January 20 – Sagittarius
Did your sign change and are you going to go by the new sign?

Hi winterose,
According to the new layout yes my sign has also changed. But I believe from what I read that these changes only started with the dawn of Aries 2007, aries being the first sign. Births from the start of Aries 2007 could be affected by the 13th sign but it has not been excepted by all. In fact many astrologers won't accept the 13th sign as it doesn't coincide with the living world. There are 12 months and hence, 12 signs.
If you are interested in following and reading your horoscope, try and find out which sign your moon and rising sign were in at your birth as they play a big part in ones daily living too.
Don't worry, I would say that you are still a pisces with all their good traits.

the signs are not based on months they are based on the constellation, the ancient babylonions knew back then there was 13 signs they created the zodiac but chose to use 12 as 12 had a major significance in their numerology. The eastern horoscope has always including 13 signs, only the western horoscope hasn't/

You left out the "new" ooh-la-la sign (sorry, I can't remember its actual name, just that it starts with O and nobody really knows how to pronouce it). That's what really screws things up.
Since I'm at the traditional Aquarius/Pisces cusp, I remain an Aquarius under this new reckoning. But, as I understand it, Astrologers pay no mind to Astronomers...

Mine changed from Cancer to a Gemini. I honestly don't care that it changed. I haven't read about Gemini yet, but I always felt that my sign wasn't right. I would read my horoscope and be like ok, this makes no sense to me. That supposely good things would happen or come my way, which it never did. It would tell me that I'm a cheerful person, which I'm not most of the time. Oh well, I say, things change all the time.

well, that would make me either a Libra (not likely) or a Scorpio and I always on the cusp of that anyway
but I like being a Sagittarius, especially the centaur image of the Archer...
And besides, Sun signs don't mean much, the rising signs and moon seem to actually have more impact.

Ya, we discussed that on here a few months ago. I will ignore it and there is no way I am a Libra. My daughter is a Libra and fits it exactly. I am not a Libra. It is really rediculous to change us like this. Just silly. Astrology has been the way it is for hundreds of years and now all of sudden I am some other sign that doesn't even fit me! I don't think so!

apparently only new people born from 2009 on will have the new signs, but eastern astrologers have always used 13 signs

I just HATE change. And this is so weird after being one sign for nearly sixty years and then feel like they want to change that. Sorry! I'm not going for it. Glad it is just going forward.

I will always be a Sagittarius only because I was born December 02 and what's this "Ophiuchus" Good grief I can't even pronounce it much less be it. These people that have nothing else to do but find job creation and make stupid changes that do no good really give me a pain where a pill would never reach!!! Just my thoughts and Yes as you said in one reply "Us old fokies will just not make the change, you're right." Not going to happen. Have a good day my Pisces friend from your Sagittarius friend.

This new zodiac only affects those born after 2009. For those of us born before then, our signs will remain the same.
I'm glad that I don't have to change mine because I'm most definitely NOT a Pisces, like the new chart would have me if I were born today. I'm Aries, through and through (not always a good thing, lol).
One thing I do not and probably will never understand is why do a couple of the signs on this new chart only have a few days in them while... wait a minute! Your listing of the new signs does not include the newest sign. This is a completely NEW version, without the newest sign and this one says I'm an Aquarian, too. The other one I saw says I'm a Pisces, while I was born Aries. Where did you get these dates from?
Mine is from: http://newsfeed.time.com/2011/01/13/horoscope-hang-up-earth-rotation-changes-zodiac-signs/
and the signs are:
Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16.
Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11.
Pisces: March 11-April 18.
Aries: April 18-May 13.
Taurus: May 13-June 21.
Gemini: June 21-July 20.
Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10.
Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16.
Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30.
Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23.
Scorpio: Nov. 23-29.
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17. (Yep, this one is new — read all about the Ophiuchus way of life here)
Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20.
This version has the new sign, Ophiuchus, after Scorpio.

I'm a Virgo and with the new Zodiac signs, I apparently turned into a Leo. I like being a Virgo and because I was born one, I wouldn't change into the new one. It's seems pretty odd that a person would suddenly change from something s/he was bron as. I heard the new signs are applicable to those born in 2009 and thereafter?

They said that yes the zodiac or astrology sign changed but i don't know how to get over being a Scorpio. I have always been a Scorpio ever since and switching over to another zodiac sign is something that I have never thought of. Anyway I am sticking to being a Scorpio no matter what. Other people also do, so why should we switch over? :)

what you see in the newspaper is nothing astrologers prepare entire charts that take a lot of time to do and they charge you quite a bit of money for it too.

Yes, my sign has changed, as well as my children and husband's. Before the change, both of my kids and I were Cancer. My husband was an Aquarius. Now we (my kids and I) are Gemini and my husband is a Capricorn? Nah, I don't think so. We'll be sticking to the old signs as that is what we're used to.
Happy mylotting!

Aquarious to Capricorn, no I'm not changing it. It's what the sky was at your birth and changes since. I was an Aquarious at birth. I thought that I had heard that the tilt affects the southern heisphere, not us.

Well according to what I heard, it only affects the people born from now on.. like.. you do not all of a sudden change who you are. The universe changes so the people that are new change. lol. I am a Leo and am so much so.. (every personality trait screams leo, lol) that it would never be able to change. :)

I'm sorry but I don't believe in astrology. That's why I'm curious now. Please don't get offended or anything. I don't mean to offend. I'm just sincerely wondering about this. I have lots of friends who are in the same predicament as you. What would you about that now? Will you start changing your ways just so you will fit the character type of your new sign? Or will you just keep believing what you have always believed? But your birthday no longer falls on the sign that you claim is yours? What do you follow then, your birth sign or your old sign? Again, please don't be offended or get mad at me. I'm concerened about my friends, you see. I have asked them these same questions and they all say they don't know what they'll do.

Umm, your horoscope is based upon the position of the stars at your birth, yes? What was the updated chart as of July 9, 1981? I think I'll stick with that one, in which I am a Cancerian.
Indeed, I would rather be a twin fish than a crab; but I don't get to change my birthday, just like I don't get to change the arrangement of the stars on my birthday.
