Do you love to read fan fictions? Which ones and why?

Absolutely! I am a fan-fiction addict, and I have been for a long time! I also read a lot of traditional books. Part of what I like about fan-fiction though, is the unique perspective in which you get to experience characters that you already adore! I love reading or watching a truly dynamic character come to life. Seeing him/her evolve through the authors/creators storyline can be thrilling! Occasionally though, there are those characters that even as an observer, you are just unwilling to walk away from. Certainly the authors/creators own their own characters, but the fans fall in-love with them too. So I see fan-fiction as the opportunity to view these beloved characters from other angels. My favorite fan-fictions are typically anything in which I have read/watched, and then become "addicted" to certain character(s). That's what will usually start me on the search for a good fan-fiction to read. I love Science-Fiction, so I read a lot of Science-Fiction based fan-fiction. Examples include all series of Star Trek, Stargate, Star Wars, X-Files, etc. I've also enjoyed fan-fiction based on some of the television shows I enjoy such as NCIS, and Psych.
