When i was in college, i discovered a lump on my right breast. My sister told me to go the doctor immediately since she was just a medical student at that time. I was only 19 and a virgin and the doctor was a handsome married man. I was too shy to have my breast examined but i didn't have a choice since my sister was suspecting it might be breast cancer. With my face all red, the doctor had to touch it to find the lump and examine how big they are. He immediately advised a surgery for the weekend and yes i went through the knife, all scared. Luckily, it was benign. Now I try my best to participate in a breast cancer awareness program every year. I want to be active in it and in my place i am. I want to participate, as a woman i want to get involve. Thus, i have posted this photo.

Being scared to have a male doctor touch you is what we all go through... I have always felt that they are professionals and know what they are doing... They always ask if I wish to have a famale doctor do it and have a nurse with me. I have had someone with me beofre but do believe that the male Doctor can do it fine. But these days have found that female docors in the new pracrice I go to now are more inclane to investigate ailments than just try to pass them off as common things that can't be dealt with.. And so get the right treatment and find I am healing better and feeling soo much better too! Happy MyLotting sweetie xxx

Hi toni , Shibham already started off with what I wanted to start with. Yes, it happens with quite all of us that we cannot open up our self in front of a stranger the first time... but when it comes to a doctor or a lawyer you should not hide things. And hey what a noble cause you are associated with... I admire you now because you are doing something for the society and I hope many women would be benefited by this effort of yours - it would help them understand their body better and also keep track of their health... and in turn it would be better for their families too Good Luck to you dear
