Have you encountered an unpleasant person in an establishment?

I went to my former school to get an important paper for my job. I've transacted with this old lady who was so unreasonable and unpleasant. She was so arrogant with the way she talked to me, while I was trying to be courteous and nice to her especially that she's older than me. So, all I did was just gave out a sigh. Can somebody share his experience like mine and how did you reacted to it?

I had an unpleasant encounter when I was trying to contact my insurance company. The company obviously did not wanted to help me out, though I've been paying them all year long to remain insured. The woman who talked to me did not wanted to help at all and was very arrogant, so I told her that the insurance company she was working for is worthless so is she. She got angry and started saying things I did not even hear because I have already turned my back to her.

If I were you, I'd also be angry. You know the reason why I chose to post my discussion under 'crazy' because I find it crazy when people would show their negative attitude towards somebody who approached them nicely, when in fact they are front-liners so they should always be friendly and easy to deal with.
