Have you ever lost money?

My cousin told me about a week ago that she's lost her money in a purse while she was on shopping. She thought she must have slipped it off on her bag. And so she ask me if it ever happens to me. I did lost some coins on my bag but just coins, not huge money or any paper bills. I am cautious with my money and I make sure I put it on the right place. Did anyone of you here lost certain amount of money?How?

Hi Ganza! Welcome to Mylot!
The last time I lost money was with a pickpocket I happen to seat beside with on a public transport. He was holding a grocery bag and was coughing, so I tried to take my face away from him not knowing that his hands are already working on my bag. I only have a Php100 or merely $2 in my wallet but my license and ids are in my wallet.
I am more aware about the people I sit now in public transport.
