J Cole Vs Drake headup

These are my thoughts on the whole thing between J Cole and Drake. Drake is a great artist.. versatile..likeable..compatible.. all of that. But, he cannot switch his style up. After listening to Drake for like an hour or so, it starts to sound like he's droning or whining. But, hey, the man can spit. Also, what kind of turned me off to Drake, I saw a few clips on youtube where he was on live radio preparing to freestyle and did horribly. Twice, I've seen this. So I'm like... "Drake stick to the studio babe". J Cole... on the other hand. He is the business. I feel that if J Cole were to be put head up with Drake, he would chew him up and spit him out on his worst day.. and that's real. J Cole not only is a freestyle battle type artist.. he is also now learning to become that studio artist (polished) that everyone loves to see and compare to other ... studio artists. J Cole is the truth. What are you guys views?? If you don't really know much about hip hop, please save your thoughts for another discussion. Thank you.

Ok so I've heard this discussion many times, and i always say J cole is better than drake. Mainly because my favorite musician ever is j cole XD. but still, cole and drake can both spit, but cole can spit better. however i like both artists. i like drake because he raps about heartbreak and he can sing pretty smoothly as well. he isnt a bad rapper, his flow and delivery just isnt as good as j coles. also, cole raps about everything in real life, from the ghetto to abortions, even to how he is currently living which would be with money lol. j cole raps about life as we all know it while drake raps about life that only rich people would know pretty much.

I agree with you. I think they are both very versatile and crucial additions to the game. They will go down as classics in history if they keep up with the strong wordplay, punchlines and relations to life that we can all vibe to. I'm forever a J Cole AND Drake fan! =)

Straight up J. Cole is my favorite rap artist. Even if I think of any greats including Jay-Z and Biggie etc. their lyrics don't even compare. His mixtape Friday Night Lights was amazing, every track was sick. It could have easily been an album. As far as Drake goes, he doesn't really compare to J. Cole's rapping skills. He is better for mainstream radio, I give him that.

I couldn't agree more. Friday Night Lights is my favorite mixtape ever still until this day! And Cole World just put a stop to everything in sight for a long minute. They are two different types of rappers, so they aren't really comparable.. but I really like both their styles. Their flows are very unique to the game!
