One day I went to my parent's room with my daughter to bond with them. Then my Dad mocked ezra (my daughter) saying the he doesn't like her then she started to cry and come to me saying sounds like mommy or mama. we all laugh because at her young age (almost 6 months) she's starting to call me mama. I was very happy and i can't explain the feeling. from then on, my niece (the one who looks after her) said that every time she cries she calls her mama. what a happy feeling....

it feels good that your daughter's first word was mama, everyone should have done that because of a mother's sacrifice while the baby is still on their womb everyone must just do everything to please their mom and make them happy, if without them none of us will be born :)

I hope he was teasing when he said that to your daughter though she is only 6 mo's old. It's cute trying to decypher what a baby is saying... sounds like she loves her momma!

It is so precious when you hear a little one start talking for the first time. It is definately something that sounds so cute, and hearing her say Mama for the first time is cute for sure. Enjoy these moments.

HI, It is a happy feeling when we heard out kid called us "Mama", but i don't remember my son called me"mama" before he reached 1 years old. At that point of time, when he needs my attention, then he will cry and only can have baby talk, but not even a single words. It is good that at her young age, your daughter is able to speak out "mama".....

That's the magic of parenthood. I like it when my one year old says the word 'Mama'. She would often say this if sahe means one thing or needs something especially my attention. I like it best when she's making that and would lean over me, as if showing me that she adores me. It is music to my ears and puts laughter to my heart.
