Should I attend the funeral?

My neighbor just came over and informed that she is attending the viewing of my landlords mother. I don't know her and I have not spoken to the landlord for over a year maybe two. The only communication I have with the landlord is when I mail in my rent check. My neighbor said, she will also attend the funeral tomorrow and maybe I'd like to go. I told her, if she should see my landlord, so give my condolences, but my question to my fellow myLotters is this... Should I go? If you were my landlord, how would you feel seeing me there?

well, if you want to pay respects it is ok for you to go..it does not matter if you know her or not. but if you feel like not going, you cannot force yourself as well since you do not know her personally..i see it that way.

Paying my respects, sure, but I think I will too uncomfortable so I will just send out a condolences card to my landlord. Thanks for the comment.
