outdoor cooking -pizza oven

I am very keen to build a pizza oven outdoors and have already had a few lessons but I am having trouble finding the clay I need to put it together.I am wondering if anyone has an outdoor pizza oven and what is it made of.I have heard that some people use other materials besides clay.I was going to use a mixture between clay and straw.Any ideas?
