We are so different, different is our culture too.
Others do not like to hugs, others after they missing for, others like it to give hugs. I like to receive the hugs of my loved ones.
But others are not possible to escape from the hugs,it is part of culture. Every day receives a hug. lol :D
Do you want one hug now?
Take down from me ;)

I guess most people likes to receive hugs especially if it will be coming from you. Hugging usually is given to give comfort to someone. Well I do love to hug and be hugged because that is one way of showing closeness and affection between two persons. It's a way of saying that I will be close by when you need someone to hold on to.

When we think of affection, our thoughts often turn to a kiss. i think that hugs are just as important to give and to receive. you can hold on to the one you care about so much longer with a hug instead of a kiss.

Lol yes i like hugs..hehe, personally sometimes hugs saves my day, it comforts me when I feel sad or feeling down. And I will be okey after it.
Culture maybe plays role in hugging for some people, like to other conservative culture you can't just hug people or else you are to face trouble.

Smiles and Hugs are my two favourite things, and I share both freely, smiles more then hugs of course, some people don't like getting hugged...I think they are weird, but that is just how they are wired.

I like to hug and be hugged with moderation, only by people close to me. Otherwise, hugging wouldn't be special anymore. I don't see why total strangers would want to hug each other, except maybe in very special circumstances like escaping a terrorist attack or something.

I agree with that. Hugs are meant for people you have some sort of bond with. Whether it be physical, emotional, or out of respect, they shouldn't be given out indiscriminately.
That said, I like hugs, and apparently, every female I've ever hugged likes mine. They say because I'm so warm all the time.

I thin k we all like a hug at times but sometime some people over do it a bit with the kissy kissy hug hug thing everytime they see you...but there is times when it is nice from the right person at the right time, we all like that.

I love being hugged of course.
My daughter and my husband do hug me many times a day and I do the same.
Hugging is one way showing one's love.

Hi there!
Sometimes. It depends on my mood and the person. I do like to receive hugs from my close friends, siblings, parents and bestfriends. And also from my crush if ever he wants to hug me. I also like to hug others. If others are hugging me, I love to hug them back. :)

I definitely like hugs. I think that it is one of the best gifts you may give to someone. For sure, once they get it they would feel better. The best of it is that it is free.
There is just something to hugging that somehow makes you feel light. The warmth that other people give you just does a lot to make your mood better. I just hope that everyone does this to avoid conflict.
Hugs to everyone.

I love hugs! I feel happy when I get hugged because I believe that a hug is a symbol of friendship and I feel like one with the person who hugs me. But unfortunately I don't get as many hugs as I'd like to.

I didnt grow up with a lot of hugs so i dont really like it. I accept them when people want to do that. Last time i accepted a hug i caught a virus. I think if people think they have a virus they should not go around hugging others.
In fact since i started wearing bi-focals i really dont like when people are standing so close they are out of focus. When speaking i like to see their face not a blur.

I'm a hugger, but I've gotten too 'into it' before---not just 'too much contact goin` on,' but also 'initiating the hug too aggressively.'
We know that a hug takes two people, each giving and receiving equally. It starts with 'initiation' (usually me, sometimes them; throwing one's arms open-wide and reaching to the other as if to catch them in a hug);
The 'initiation' is then 'seconded' (usually with a reaching-out in return) ... that there is the 'stoplight' for the hug; the rule is "no reach in return, no follow-through" (a rule I've broken too many times )
Of course, one of the ways I've broken that rule is 'the approach-from-behind.' It seems okay to use with friends, but it often leads to 'things too serious' if there's a 'turn-and-interlock' rather than a 'buddy-pat-on-the-back.'
