Does it drive you nuts to have a tag in your shirt? The tags I am speaking of are usually in the back of the neck and say the brand and usually there is a second tag next to it that says the size and fabric its made of etc. When I was young this really drove me nuts. I would itch so bad. My mother removed all the tags out of our shirts. My daughter isnt bothered by tags at all but my son cant stand it. He hates tags so much in his clothes that lately he has made me cut all the tags off his stuffed animals as well lol. Is this something that bothers your kids like it does my son? It doesnt bother me anymore like it did when I was a kid.

Now they are making clothes with the tags printed on them instead, or if there is a tag it's in the bottom of the shirt to the side. When I was younger it used to bother me a great deal as well as they were always so itchy and so they would cut the tags out of my clothes as well. I have no children yet so can't say from that persepective.

The tags that are in the neck of my shirts dont bother me as much as the ones that are on the side of my shirt. Those annoy me so I remove them but I rarely remove the ones from the necks of my shirts anymore. Like you said some of the shirts have print on the inside of the neck instead of a sewn in tag.

This is actually something that has never bothered me. However, it is something that did used to bother Kathryn really bad when she was younger. She would always have her babysitter cut the tags out of her shirts when she was over there because she would say that it was driving her nuts. She has since outgrown that stage for the most part. Now with Paul, it is something that has never bothered him at all. He never complains about the tags in his shirt.

Its funny how kids can be so different. My kids are like that. My daughter has never complained about a tag but my son cant stand them. Hes more like me with that I guess. I absolutely loathed them when I was young.

it doesnt really bother me but what does bother me is when i go to the thrift store and take a look at a shirt, i hate it when there are no tags in the clothing. i want to know what size the shirt is and who made it (and even what it is made out of!)

That really drives me nuts as well. When I see a cute pair of pants I look at the tag to see what the size is. Then of course I try it on. If it doesnt have a size tag because someone cut it out then I dont even bother to try them on its just a waste of my time.

I have always been annoyed by those bothersome tags inside so many of our shorts. Somebody else must have felt the same way to come up with tagless shirts. Nothing is more irritating than the itching of a tag on your skin in a place you cant reach.

Oh yes I have to remove the tag off all the clothes, only later then I have a problem figuring out if I can wash something because I removed the tag. But in general I have to cut or trim the tag because it does bothered me like you say it bothers your son. I cannot see tags on towels and sheets either, I don't like to see it sticking out.

I rarely remove tags from my clothes anymore like I always did when I was young. I couldnt stand it when I was young I would itch so bad I would throw a temper tantrum until my mother quick cut the tag out. I've never removed the tags from sheets or towels though thats funny that it bothers you but yes they look better without them.

They do, sometimes. It's not the itching, I just can't stand to feel them on the back of my neck. I get the same way about my hair, so I try to keep it pulled up high enough not to touch the back of the neck. With tags, I cut them. I love shirts that have the tag printed straight on the back of the shirt so there's nothing there to irritate me.

Thats awesome your kids never complained. I always threw a fit if there was a tag in my shirt. I was probably overly sensitive to things. My mother just got used to always cutting them out. I think in time thats what I'm going to wind up doig with my sons clothes because he hates tags so bad.

It depends on the tag. I remember hating those hard and big tags when I was little because it was really itchy. But I think merchandisers notice this now, coz their tags are improving.

I agree I think that companies are getting smart about this. What I love are the tags that are just printed on the inside of the shirt instead of being a material tag that is sewn into the back of the shirt. The only thing is after you wear the shirt a while the print comes off and so if you go to a used clothing store to say get a shirt for your child the brand name and size might not show. Also if people cut the tags out of their clothes that happens as well. Thats frusterating for me when I am trying to quickly look to see what size things are.

I took out all the tags from my shirts and dresses. I cannot bear it, made my skin itchy and scratchy. I have a sensitive skin, I cannot wear silver or other metal jewelries.

If I wear any earnings in my ears except for gold my ears will swell and itch so bad. I used to wear a belly button ring and that was nikle I think. That didnt bother me at all. The tags being in my clothes doesnt really bother me anymore but oh my gosh when I was a kid it was just unbearable.

Yes, I think some metals are okay but I just don't know which one. I should have a test, I guess.

They bother me a little, but I'm usually too lazy to cut them off :P, so I end up getting used to them.

Once in a great while I will get a pair of pants or a shirt that has a horrible stiff itchy tag in it and even now at 27 I will have to cut the tag out. Its not often I usually just deal with the slight itching but some of them I really cant ignore they are just to darn itchy.

I hate when they are itchy. Lately though haven't had no problems. I used to cut them out my kid's clothes. He didn't like them.
