I went to Lithuania in 2009. My husband and I went by bus from Hamburg in Germany to Vilnius in Lithuania. I like Vilnius a lot, and I think that it is a very beautiful place. We had a couple of days in Vilnius and we walked around and looked at the city. After a few days we decided to go on a daytrip to Kaunas, and I enjoyed that as well. I would like to visit Lithuania again one day. Next time I think it could be nice to visit the western part of the country for instanse Klaipeda. I would also like to visit the Hill of crosses and Siauliai.

I took my disabled son when he was 13 months old on a trip to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. I really liked what I saw of Lithuania and found the local people friendly. I think that Vilnius is a beautiful capital city well worth visiting. I liked visiting the old capital too with its stunning looking castle. I found the North Sea coast really picturesque. We traveled around by bus and train. It is quite economical to travel from Bristol to Riga. Since then we have gone on long haul trips that have been a lot more expensive.

I have never been to Lithuania, but I have been wanting to go for the longest time. I hear that there are very nice areas there, because I have some friends who have been there, especially in the old town or something like that of Vilnius, the capital.
I also know that Lithuania has quite an interesting history, that the Lithuanian language sounds pretty strange (no offense!) and that you are good at basketball :)
