I just got some great news in the mail today! Not only did I get my tax return, but I got approved for disability! I won't see any money from that until the end of July, but at least I will get it. I still don't know where I am as far as the chemo goes, but I got the paper signed so they can send off to see if I can be in the study or not. I should be able to get started with that some time next week. Has anything good happened to you today?

That is great that you got two good news situations in one day. That is great that you got approved for your disability! Hopefully you get your money soon!I hope you get your chemo real soon. That will take a lot of the worry out of you. Something like that can be very stressful.
I just had a normal day today, nothing different. I had nothing good or bad happen today. I rather have a day like that then a bad one. Have a good week.

Unfortunately, the letter said it would be around July 27 before I got the first payment. But I feel like I have a huge weight off my shoulders because the last two times I tried, I was disapproved and everyone kept telling me that I would be disapproved again. I hope things keep going well. Have a great day!

I was surprised that I didn't have to go through a denial again like the last two times that I applied. I guess it helps that I'm over 50 and that I also have cancer instead of just the mental problems. Also, I found out today that the check I got yesterday was for SSI and not my tax return so it is even better! Thanks for the response.

Wow,that is a while but like you said the good news is that you were approved. If you told me that you were trying to get disability. I would know sooner or later you would get it because it would be hard to work with a colon bag plus I know someone that got it because of having that same surgery.Congratulations!

OH, this is so great. Knowing that you will have the disability money coming in. I am sure you will be letting us know how things progress. Tax money is nice meanwhile as a one time thing.

Yes it is nice to have the money. It means that I can pay my rent and I should be able to get a vehicle soon. I just wish I didn't have to wait until the end of July to get the disability money.

Hooray a good day for you for once! As for me although a long one, I was able to complete an assignment, which lasted all day but I will be paid well for it. So although I am so exhausted it was so well worth it!
Enjoy your return!

I'm glad you are finally able to have a foreign teacher. The funny ones are always the most interesting. I think I bored many of my students because I would tell stories and later they would tell me I spoke too fast and they didn't understand. If they would have asked me to slow down while I was speaking, I could have done so and they would have been able to understand. Make sure if you don't understand what he is saying or if he is speaking too fast that you let him know right away so he can adjust so that you will do better. Good luck with your classes!

That is indeed great news. It is the middle of the week, so nothing exciting is happening except busy with kids and household chores. But, I think I can say that after 2 years of being out of mylot, I decided to come back today and be active again.
