Arsenal showed the quality of their side in the recent FA cup match the only problem is that it was a replay so the question is why couldn't they complete the job at the first time of asking? They really could have done without this extra game, these are the games which cause necessary fixture congestion and could falter Arsenals chances of success in future competitions. Nicklas Bendter got a hatrick that's not like him at all Do you reckon he might kick on from this match or will he continue to warm the bench .

That was the result they were looking forward after the disappointment of the FA Cup. Winning 5-0 will have lifted the mood a bit. More importantly Chamakh got back to scoring ways after November and Bendtner getting a hat trick. Suddenly things do not look so bad for Arsenal, with they moving to the next round of FA Cup against Man U. With Chelsea beating Man U, they could move to within one point of the leaders if they win their game in hand. And then go into next week's match against Barcelona with a slim lead.
Cheers!

It certainly was a good result but the main probelm with the result is the fact they needed the two games to show their quality over Leyton Orient which could prove costly at the end of the season . They needed the lift though and should be confident when facing Barcelona, Arsenal will beat Manchester United in the FA cup I'm fairly certain of it .

I think Bendtner is still inconsistent.
Wenger would rather choose Van Persie or even Chamakh.
But in fact, not only Bendtner i think, who still play inconsistently. So the would have the re-match. Otherwise, they shouldn't.

I agree Bendtner is very inconsistent (with extra emphasise on inconsistent ) Robin Van Persie is injured for the next four weeks but I do agree Chamkakh would be a better choice he can score more regularly than Bendtner can whilst also get others involved . I'm not sure what you mean with your re-match comment though.

Ups, sorry for the typo. It should have been written: "So 'they' would have the re-match (game)." :)
What I'm trying to say is: if all the player haven't played so inconsistently, they should not really have to replay the match. They should have done it in the first game.
*sorry for my bad english :D *

I haven't seen the game, but the result tells it all. As for your question, it is not the same to play on away pitch than to play at home. And football minnows always put a great display when they play against a giant, but they cannot do it twice in a row. So I think this is the reason for what happened.

The result certainly does say it all as for my opinion though my opinion is that they should never have needed a replay , this extra game could prove costly with the players potentially suffering burnout /. The minnows don't always put on a good display against the bigger teams it happens at time but not 'always' as you suggest.

The first two goals from Bendtner are fantastic.I`m confident in Bendtner ,he will ba the main force in the next two games versus Barcelona and Man United. The next three matches will determine the destiny of Arsenal this season.

I can't help but laugh at the very though that Bendtner will be the main force in the next couple of games I myself don't even see him getting played . I'd play Chamakh of Bendtner any day he's a seriously poor player despite his hatrick and for a forward normally he can't put the ball into the back of the net this hatrick is out of character for him .
