I think it depends on professionalism. Being a salesman, a person is considered as professional and, therefore, he acts according to the codes and ethics of a salesman. If he violated one of those codes he'll be subjected to the consequences of those codes. Plus, there's a contract a person signs before working. That contract is binded by law so anything that you do that violates the contract will be subjected to law. When it comes to love, though, it's different. There are no contracts signed by both parties except when they're married.

Well,that would be fine.
Maybe it will lessen cheaters in this world.
Or at least it will caused some warnings to people who wants to cheat someone.

In all honesty the jails would be totally overpopulated that they would free the wrong ones at times to make room for more. I suppose cheating is more on moral sense as opposed to the breaking of laws offense.
Btu hypothetically speaking it would be nice to see cheaters somehow pay for this crime. That said, cheating should be considered a crime as someone who fools with a lovers heart is breaking the moral laws they promised to each other.

Going to jail for the pure reason of cheating will never pass as a law. I don't think you can ever stop someone from doing something. I personally would not want my boyfriend not to cheat because he will go to jail because of it. Cheating also weeds our the bad guys.

It is because love has no boundaries. Sometimes even if one has been cheated, forgiving seems easy because of the love they have for thaT person. I guess if all forms of cheating will be punished with imprisonment, then I guess a very large area should be allocated for the jail exclusively designated for cheaters...hehehe
