What do think about the new Oprah Winfrey network called OWN?

I feel that she has taken alto of the good movies off I use to watch since she took over the station.which was called
1.Lie to me.
2.Medium.
3.The Closer.
4.Missing.
These are just a few. why couldn't she start a new station that didn't bother VIVA now it's not on any more.
She could have started her own station with out bothering the others ones.Don't you agree?
I like Oprah Winfrey nothing against her
I really miss my movies.

I'm with you all the way on this one cd.
With all the money she has, you'd think she could create and pay for her "own" network station, rather have to BUY someone else's cable network.
Don't get me wrong, I like Oprah too.
Her money's done wonders for tons of people all around the world,
and I commend her for her efforts.
But geez!
There are sooooooo many other TV station numbers out there,
just begging to have SOMEBODY pick them up.
I'm with you.

I feel the same way why can't she pick on one that needs the money and leave our station alone it's so sad that's she has to pick on somebody elses one that was doing good.
You're right she's done alot good for alot of people out there all over the world,and I commend for her efforts.
But geez!

I'm not sure what you're on about... did your local cable company put her station on the dial where your favorite station was?
I do know, however, that Medium has finished its run.

Oprah did NOT take your station away, it was simply moved.

May it be has finish it's run but there was other ones that were just as good as Medium and other movies would like to start off on that station but don't feel they have to go threw her now ..which is sad!!

She didn't take off your movies or your shows, that was your television service provider. She didn't take away or buy out any networks, she created her own from the ground up. What channel number it comes up as on your television depends entirely on your service provider, neither Oprah nor the network had anything to do with that.
You need to look up or call your provider and ask what happened to the network that used to be on that channel. It was probably moved to another number, or maybe even got upgraded to a pay-channel. That's what happened to the Hallmark network here a couple months back.
