Why do women talk a lot?

Eh,maybe you need more patience...

women won't talk if she sees nothing to talk about, maybe your mom, sister and girlfriend talk to you so much means there's something wrong with you. i'm a woman and i won't talk unless i've seen something to talk about. but when a woman talk there's a reason for it. think of what you did wrong.

Women talk alot because they have to.I talk alot but know men who does way more than me.When you say talk alot what exactly do you mean? We have to be the ones to discipline the kids,tell men countless times what to do and how to do it,dont drink straight from the milk or juice bottle,pick up after yourselves,kids have extra training/lessons today etc. When you say women talk alot,we do it because if we dont things just dont happen right and on time.

You reall have to be careful making such a general statement. It can get you in a lot of trouble.

hello there! I guess it comes with the genetic and hormonal make up of women thats why they talk much than men do. Talking relieves much of our anxiety and stress.It makes us feel better if we are able to verbalize our thoughts. It is so hard to make them stop, but it would be better if you talk to them and ask them to give you a chance to explain your self and to do the other talking. It now depends to the other behalf if she would be understanding and generous enough to give you the chance to talk. happy mylotting ;)))

I agree with your comment that more women talks a lot than men. However, it must be put on record that there are still some men although few in number, who have this female characteristics or behavioural pattern. They talk and talk without getting tired. I am not the type that like talking. As for the female, their talking habits may be connected to their emotion. They are the type that can not hide their emotion. So talking gives them an opportunity to air their views or win an argument.

Hi singuri, haha u r right, but i think the reason is women are confined to their small world in which they always think about the family members or the boy friend so they always live in the world of their own and wanna share everything with us then, but u know frankly speaking even i talk more, provided i have to like the company of others

One don't ever bunch women together that's never a good thing and will make many women mad. We don't like being compared or lumped into a group. Two we talk a lot as you put it because we think with our heads (the one on our shoulders) and our emotions. In case men haven't noticed women are very emotional. When something happens don't try talking about it right away wait for her to calm down first. My daughter and I are the same about that much. She never shuts up because she has something to say and her husband just waits her out then puts in his input.....speaking of such my husband and I do the same thing. It just works better that way. Women are smarter that's just a fact.

i think that women seem to talk more because they think alot more than men do. most men are pretty one-dimensional...but women are very complex so we have lots to think about. also, i think it is because women are more sensitive than men so they talk about their feelings alot

You just have not met a woman who does not talk a lot, to the point that she can sit with you for hours and only say: thank you, okay, no problem...

Well it is because more often than not, women are right. Men are just needs to step back and agree with everything that we are saying. :) I'm just kidding. We are more inclined to our emotions and most of us don't have a filter so we throw everything out. I know a lot of females who does not talk a lot and know a lot of males who talk like there is no tomorrow. But generally your assumption is right. Sucks to be a guy right? :)

Women feel the need to externalize their feelings more than men and that and talk more.I saw a report on the discovery earlier about people and socializing. I do not remember just a small part but I know he said that women talk more because they are a part of the brain that deals with socialization or something more developed. (that's scientifically answer why women talk more). On the other hand, women speak because they have to whom.

don't be kind of happiness with women like to talk a lot? I do enjoy this atmosphere,i don't like silent,that is uneasy...

Unfortunately there is no solution. At least in my experience. One thing I have also found that is annoying is that women expect you to remember everything they say. If you do not remember on thing they get mad. Any thoughts on this?
