My step-grandmother passed away monday night. She passed away from complications from chemotherapy. It all happened so fast. She found a lump in november. She had her surgury on christmas... now she passed on. She was a welcoming and wonderful lady and will be missed.
Have you lost anyone from cancer? It seems to be more and more common these days.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss and want to express my sincerest sympathy. Cancer is about one of the deadliest diseases, which can lay dormant for years and not realize one has the illness until it is too late.
I have not lost anyone recently or very close to cancer, but do know some that are currently struggling with the illness. I know one friend who had throat cancer, although I don't know what type by went through a great deal and bless his heart has been cancer free for the last 15 years.

Thanks. I'll look him up. My friend swears by her naturopathic doctor. I really think avoiding chemicals and eating natural and organic food is a good way to start.

How sad for you. You have my sympathy.
I did not lose him from cancer, but my step-grandfather recently passed away from a brain aneurysm.

It is always sad to loose someone in your life. My Great Uncle passed away as well right after Christmas. I guess I'm getting older and this is going to happen more and more often.
