my one good friend who I talk to a lot on facebook had their account disabled and was given no reason why. She sent them an email and all it says is they will get back to her and so far they have not nor given her any explanation why they disabled her in the first place. has this happened to anyone you know? apparently this has happened to quite a few people and I don't understand why they would not at least tell you why they have done this.

I was a loyal Facebook user until they disabled my account yesterday without explanation. There was no warning message or anything. I logged out to go help a friend on her account, and when I tried to log back into my own account, it said I had been disabled. I was unable to log back in. There is stuff that I have paid for and earned on this account. I have been searching the web for an answer as to how to fix this problem. What I have found is very disturbing. I have found posts from other people who have also been disabled on Facebook. One person said it took her almost a month to get her account restored. Others still do not have their account restored. They said their messages to the Facebook team and to disabled@facebook.com had received no response, and that since their is no telphone number or physical address to contact Facebook at, that there was little recourse for their actions. Facebook should not be able to kick users off the site without a valid reason or no warning whatsoever. I am very displeased with Facebook right now and am not impressed with their "customer support."

hello my good friend and welcome to the site. I do not blame you for being mad at facebook and I am with you and your frustration about it I do not understand why they would not at the very least tell you why they have done this to you or to at least get back to you in a timely manner with some kind of an explanation. I wish you luck in getting your account back and I hope you can get it back very soon.

hello tim, Are you saying that,it's the facebook admin who disabled your friend's account? Or it was your friend who deactivated her account in facebook? I don't think facebook admin will ever disabled any account in facebook unless it is reported by few people as being inappropriate. But if your friend deactivated her account, she can still open it anytime she likes to activate it again.

My account has been reactivated! I received an e-mail from the Facebook team saying it had been suspended because their security system had detected activity that could be associated with a fake account. I am so happy to be able to get on Facebook again!

You mean you have to buy t.v. shows on Facebook? You can't see them on tv.com?

wow that is really bad wonder why that happened? I personally only use it to play a couple games and talk to a couple close friends, but other then that I do not do too much on there, but I did buy some episodes for family feud when they were on sale and I would sure like to use them up just in case.

I'm not on ffacebook, so don't have an account to disable... However, I'm constantly reading about people's accounts being hacked, so this might be the case.

Security issue? Maybe her account was hacked.

they have reactivated her account now saying it was a security issue associated with activity that they have seen associated with fake accounts and it is surely nothing that she has done so I am glad to see they let her back on.

What kind of stuff was your friend posting on FB? There is a possibility that someone complained/reported her or that her account was hacked. People say and do a lot of stupid things online.

as far as we know my friend hasn't done anything to have caused that to happen she is very nice to everyone on there. I am guessing maybe that someone did something to her account more then something that she has done as they told her it was a security issue showing evidence like they see with fake accounts and that was all they told her they reactivated her and I guess all is ok now.
