I think that waking up to your favorite music is a happy way to start any day. Sometimes if the day starts in a positive way, it can keep heading in that direction. We have enough trials to weigh us down.

I AGREE! but unfortunately my neighbors music is the one who wakes me up so sometimes it is not a good feeling har har har. his music is not my type and sometimes he sings along with it too. so i just focus on something else like how lucky i am to have a cute child and a loving wife. thanks a lot for the response.

Every morning when i wake up, i would stretch all my limbs while lying and then after that sit upright and pray. I give myself 15 minutes or sometimes even 20 minutes to pray . I would start my prayer by being still and simply listening to the sound of silence. Then , my prayer naturally flows.
When i don't pray, my day seemed wrecked.

a morning that is always started with prayers are the ones worth waking up with. making a silent prayer on thanking our creator that we still woke up to make another day. praying is communicating to Him and letting your prayer naturally flows is like talking to him. thanks a lot for the response.

I like to start my day by opening up the back door and check the day out and be thankful I have another day to do as I want, to see my little cat curled up on the porch waking up for her breakfast...and to jump onto the computer because I have so many friends that live in my computer.

My daily routine is to sit up on my bed and be grateful to God that I am able to enjoy another day of life. As soon as I get out of bed I am peace to enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast.
This routine allows me to face whatever the world had in store for me. Whether good or bad I always ready. If I miss my breakfast I get sluggish and my day gets somewhat ruined, so I do try never to miss out.

yes, no matter what is that we need to face.. good or bad we need to face it. i love to start my day too with a good cup of coffee. if i miss breakfast that means its not going to be a good day for me. so it was hard to adjust while i was working abroad. i need to have breakfast from convi stores or the usual donuts. har har har. thanks a lot for the response.

When my son kisses me in the morning and he would say 'good morning, mom!' That makes up my day and a message on my phone from my best friend saying that he's doing okay. He's sick and i'm hoping he would get well soon.
A good dream also make me start my day with a smile.

i have suffered a period of distression and i thought life was meangingless, i could not provide myself with a decent excuse to carry out, and this went on for a while until i was tired of it. then, one day, i woke up, discoverying that the sunlight penetrating through the window was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen, i became hopeful immediately, i recalled the warm memories with these i love, i know that i still have the ability to hold on, to love and hope, i started to care more about my parents, the guy i once ignored, and the hobbies i abandoned, it all worked well, i became happier and focused more on pursuing what i believe instead of being guided by others. now, i think happiness and i have become good friends, i smile a lot, i wake up every morning with beautiful smile on my face, what a nice world this is!

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. i think we people need time for everything. time to think and to just be alone, but also we need to have time to stand up and move on. we need to appreciate the things around us and appreciate the people who cares for us. life is complicated but it is worth living for when you are living with people who loves and cares for you. glad to know your in a different boat now.. continue rowing. thanks a lot for the response and hope to see you more here.

We have to see our loved ones face.
Our mother, father, daughter, son or life partner who ever they are we have to see them in the early morning.
Open eyes by seeing them only.

What makes me happy now when I wake up is a real strong cup of coffee. That gets me going. I used to wake up and see my children's faces until my ex left and took the kids. I do get to see them twice a month and only then do I see their faces smile in the morning. That makes me very happy. I just wish I could have the days back when they would run into my bed and jump on me and say 'Daddy wake up." But I take every piece of happiness I can get with them.
