I usually have a nap after lunches at my office. And I'll sleep about 30 minutes before I come back to work. But I can't sleep in the nap near days. I feel very tired in afternoon working. I don't know why. But I feel headache and I can't concentrate in my works. Sleeping in a nap after lunches is important.Right?

It's healthy for you, but it's not totally required. I don't have afternoon naps myself, but I know that it's highly recommended. I think maybe you're doing lots of work in the office and while that is stressing you out mentally, it's not tiring your physical body out. I find it easiest to sleep when I make sure to get lots of physical exercise during the daytime hours.

Yeah... that tends to happen! I know it's hard to find time to exercise when you've got a job that wants you to sit all day, but you can do some simple things to make sure you get your body moving. Take the stairs, park a little farther away and spend more time walking. It might even help to get up and pace occasionally.

I maybe must do exercise everyday. Because I usually seat all time at my office. And I take a nap everyday. My weight is increasing!

when I was still working full time, I would go out and sleep in my car during lunch I only managed to hold on to those last few years doing that Now I work part time, I sleep later in the morning, only work 5 hours a day and if I need a nap, I can come home most days and take one

It's great. I wish I can do that. Could I know what is your job? If that job is here, I'll try to get it

Yeah! sure! surely important in getting the power of nap. It helps much our blood to regain more power in sending oxygen to the living cells. I mean, when we're in less active (sleep), more oxygen volume can be supplied to the prioritize "running" organs.

We are the opposite friend because I am one if I take a 30 minute nap then I wake up with a headache. I suppose because maybe it is not enough time for me and I am not good at sleeping at nights.

Some of my colleagues like you. So, they don't take a nap. I think this depend on your body. If naps are not suitable, you shouldn't take it.

Taking a nap after lunch is not right. Usually our lunch is very heavy compared to breakfast or dinner. So all the carbohydrates and fats get deposited on the veins if we nap after lunch. This may cause problems on a long run. The alternate could be that you take a nap and then have lunch.

Power naps are actually important because it can recharge you mentally and physically from the exhaustion lost in the morning. Perhaps, what you need is a food that can put you to sleep after lunch time. Avoid taking desserts after taking your lunch because that can break the mood to sleep. Or take desserts with less sugar like bananas.

I do get tired after lunch at times. But usually it lasts about 30 minutes only. One possible way of avoiding it is not to have heavy lunch and have plenty of sleep at night.

Hi my friend. Almost doctors said that we shouldn't eat much in dinner. But we can sleep much. So, If I have more conditions, I'll do this.

Hi there, Even I love to sleep after lunch when I am at home. After an hours sleep I feel refreshed. And if the nap time is over, I mean, I could not spare time because of some extra work I feel tired and feel like doing nothing. Many experts have said that if you could spare time it is good for health. But this should not be too long a sleep.

Naps are important anytime! I think everyone gets tired in the afternoon, but I don't remember why. I didn't have a chance to nap today, and I am really feeling it now. When I am tired, I can't think straight, but I don't get headaches. A nap is the highlight of my day! You are lucky you get to take a nap before you go back to work. Does everyone in your country get to nap? I think in the States if more people including students could nap during the day we would be in better shape.

Yes, all staffs take a nap before they turn back to work. Accept workers, because they must work many watches.

A short nap of even 15 minutes is enough to recharge our inner battery and make one feel fresh, energized , i enjoy a nap of about 2 hours in noon in summer, it is necessary, but in winter i don't need it, it is summer here now, today the temp was 48.5 C, i felt like a fish out of water, switched on the airconditioner and slept for 2 hours.. now i feel fresh, i will take a shower with cold water in 15 minutes lol Thanks for sharing Cheers. God bless you, have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. .

You're strong, my friend. I don't know why but if I can't nap, I'll be tired and I can't work well. I wonder that anytime you feel tired when you must work in a long time?

Assumes that one has to take a nap in the afternoon to recover, although only fifteen minutes, maybe you're worried about something and can't sleep for this, that happens to me at night I could nolt sleep good for a couple of months and it's annoying when you can't sleep if you want to.
